The hot water was hot and it was conveniently located near the Taj Mahal. However, the bathroom smelled a bit. There was a restaurant attached, but it was quite expensive. The staff were concerned and cut the tip for us, but...

The very best place to stay in Agra. It is close to most of the sights to see in Agra. The Taj Mahal is not far from Maya Hotel and Restaurant, but there are ***y other sights to visit in Agra. The staff are very kind, friendly, professional and most helpful. Mr. Raju, the owner, is extremely helpful if you have any problems at all and will go out of his way to help correct the problem. I most highly recommend the Maya Hotel and restaurant. BTW, the food here is superb! Try the Butterscotch Milkshakes WITH ICE CREAM. They are heaven in a glass!

I visited now more than 10 years . Best rooms, best staf, best food. The best in Agra. We are bikers on tour. From Delhi to Kath***du. close to Taj Mahal. Nice alsoo viset red fort and Ka Taal shik tempel. See our website Bikers for India. Tomorrow to Jaipur

Good big bed and great location. Polite and helpful staff. Close to the Taj Mahal and restaurant had very tasty food. They had fires on the rooftop to keep us warm which was greatly appreciated. Would recommend, overall enjoyed our stay here in Agra.

What a lovely hotel. The rooms are clean and well looked after. The rooftop terrace is a bonus. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is good. I can't think of anything negative to say about the hotel.

I and my partner are profound about what we had a great experience with in this premises and also at the the "Chia Taj view cafe" "Raju Gupta" is the responsible owner with professional approach and knows he's upto. The facilities with in the establishment is fairly appreciative so as every dishes you'd prefer in various cuisine. Should give it a shot when you're visiting Agra.

Keep in mind that it's only a budget hotel, but the staff here were great. I had their local dish for breakfast which was fresh and more than enough. Machine cappuccino did the job, but their chai was better than most. My bed was really comfortable. Like a lot of hotels in this range, wait a bit for the warmer water to get to the rusting shower head. The place is only a 10 min walk to the Taj Mahal. They have a nice little open eating area upstairs. No views but the bustling traffic on the street with the occasional, seemingly oblivious, cow/s just wandering around. Take your Rid, Bush***'s, Aerogard etc...Agra's mosquito numbers are a real issue.

Great breakfast, near Taj, tasty and congenial staff. Brought by tour guide and expected tourist trap but was pleasantly surprised. Out of sausage so they substituted, delicious and plentiful, a little oasis away from hustle and bustle. Best I've had in India so far
