Stayed with family at hotel Chitvan Resort while on a road trip from Gurgaon to Mt Abu between 3rd and 13th Jan’23. As I was to check-in at late evening, I was hesitant first to stay here as its location is on the outskirts of Kishangarh, and Google map also showed it as a desolate area. However, went ahead with it, and am glad that I selected this property to stay. All in all, a good place to stay with family. No frills, but with all basic amenities in line with budget tariff (Rs 3K incl. gst & breakfast) I paid. Some views… Location is good, right at highway. This is a big plus if you are enroute to/from Udaipur, Mt Abu or Gujarat and need a place to stay for a night. Fast and easy access to highway. Property is very good, with large clean and maintained lawns and greenery. Has a very open feeling about it and air felt fresh and rejuvenating in the morning. They have a tennis court and is a pet friendly property. Ample, gated, parking space within the property, with surveillance Rooms (mine were 108 and 109 on ground floor) are very spacious, neat, and with natural light. Each had a private sit out area opening into back lawns. Bedsheets were clean. Towels looked a worn out but were clean. Room heaters and Tea Maker were also provided. No fridge or microwave. Staff is very polite, friendly and made all efforts to make sure we were comfortable. A big thanks to Amit & team Only negative is the food. We had opted for breakfast as part of room plan. It was just average, both in taste and options to select from. There were simple items like toast, eggs, cereal, paratha /idli, ***** with tea & coffee. Service was slow and is an area of improvement. If the occupancy is low, you have to order from menu and it will be served on table instead of laying a buffet. For dinner, we ordered ala-carte. Dishes were reasonably priced for the quantity and were only average in taste. The breads, I felt, were pricey for the size (e.g. plain tawa rot Rs 30, and buttered tawa roti for 40 rs) There are no restaurants nearby so you are left with no choice but to have meals in the hotel.
