I have really nothing but good things to stay about the Byron Econo Lodge!! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and well kept, amenities were just what we needed, and while most people don't recognize the housekeeping staff, I want to recognize Millie, the housekeeper that we had for the week. Being a smaller hotel, we couldn't help but run into her and she was simply amazing. Always there with extra towels and trash bags, snuck my husband a cup of the "premium" coffee, and added extra touches for my dog, especially after she got hurt in competition. She also gave my husband a touch of his old home country of Venezuela because they had Spanish language in common and it gave him the change to babble at someone in Spanish, which he enjoys. The only issue that I had with my stay was the morning manager pacing back and forth in front of my hotel room door about an hour and a half before check out up until the time we left Monday morning. That was a bit unsettling and annoying. Still, we didn't let it get to us or change our plans and enjoyed our stay.
