A beautiful hotel,my partner brought me to this hotel for a birthday treat, The hotel is beautifully restored The rooms are stunning With beautiful furniture The staff gave amazing service We intend to visit in the summer and again at Christmas time The hotel is so close to the village/ town centre, The hotels bar and restaurant is beautiful and staffed by lovely attentive staff The menu was lovely. Can't wait to re visit .

Unexpected pleasure on the bank of the Loire. We looked for a place overnight with the possibility to eat well. Well, we found ‘Le Choiseul” in Amboise. Wonderful location and beautiful estate. Excellent dinner and great value for moneyWe got a very nice room where we and our two French buldogs were very comfortable. Access to the garden from our room. Dinner as well as breakfast were excellent. Absolutely worthwhile to come back to. `

Enjoyed this place. It was old and I really liked that. If you want a modern, "American style" hotel, this is not it. The chateaux feel. Really appreciated the helpful information and hospitality provided by Stephan. Our room, on the top floor, has a high ceiling, with a unique wood structure. It's across the street from the Loire River, and a close walk to the center of Amboise.

Excellent choice for Amboise. Rooms large and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner and wine were superb. The Grand Marnier souffle was outstanding. Enjoyed our stay and would return to Le Choiseul.

I selected it because of its location next to the river - and for the gardens and interiors... the fact that our room was not the best was just one of those things!

The staff was perfectly effcient and attentive. The hotel is a cozy, wonderful place to rest, and the town is next door. We had a wonderful time.

Lovely property and great service. No elevator and must be able to walk. I was placed in a room at the very top floor so there were many stair cases to navigate. The room service was lovely. It would have been nice to enjoy the pool but, my time didn't allow for it. Location was right on the edge of the town and under the castle walls. Spectacular views when walking to the town center. The hotel staff arranged for my taxi service when I departed.
