Nice enough rooms. Unfortunate restaurant and shop close really early so need to get dinner elsewhere. Also currently no liquor license .

The service was okay - one lady told us that we couldn’t get Ubers or takeaways but we managed to get both fine! Load-shedding was at stage 4 but wifi worked well from the bedroom, even during blackouts. Room was small but did the job! Good location for seeing the penguins and enjoying Simon Town…

We booked a "Standard Twin Room with Courtyard View" and that was excellent value for money. Very friendly staff, clean room, very quiet at night and veeeeeery close to Boulders Beach and the penguins. An ideal location to go hiking at Cape Point . The only 2 negative points: the walls are very thin so you hear the neighbours talking (but once they sleep it's very quiet). And they start serving breakfast too late (only from 9:30 while we are used to have breakfast at 7am, especially when we do day hikes.)

Nice and picturesque accommodation in a great environment. The pinguins just in front of you and a nice walk along the coast to Windmill beach. The room was nice and dlean, good beds too. Late in the afternoon and early morning the pinguins are close to the hotel, very amazing.

Unfortunately when we arrived we weren’t overly impressed by the accommodation. No air con, boiling room and it was covered in little insects. We checked out and drove to Cape Town rather than staying. Location isn’t great - a 20 minute walk into Simon’s town and when we asked reception about taxis they said it wouldn’t be possible after 5pm. Nowhere to eat or drink near the accommodation so a 20(ish) minute walk is a must.

The view from our room was amazing. The room was neat. We had access to WIFI. We appreciated the complementary coffee/ tea/ water & rusks. The location & distance to Town & beaches was such a plus & made the experience so memorable. I would have appreiciated plant based/ vegan options at the Cafe when trying to get breakfast

We had a very nice stay. The property is a stone throw away from the beach and penguins. The views from the dining area are gorgeous. Staff were friendly and professional. Our room was very clean but did not have a lot of space to move around. The shower was not draining water so it was uncomfortable showering with water up to the ankles. Our room was next to the kitchen and it gets noisy when the staff are talking over the deep fryer noise etc. There was no wifi signal in our room. We will be coming back, the Hotel location is just too perfect!!!
