The room is clean and tidy, the public areas are also of high quality, and the location is relatively good.
The breakfast was not bad. As far as hotels in the United States are concerned, there are quite a few choices.
The attitude of the service staff is okay.

I had problems notifying the hotel we were arriving late and was told it was because I booked through Orbitz. It took approximately 15 minutes to reach the hotel front desk to let them know we needed them to hold our room.
Once we checked in around 10 pm, we entered our room and noticed a strong sewer smell. We asked for a new room only to find the next room smelled worse than the first one. The third room was fine and all was well. Until the next evening when we returned to the same smell. The whole floor seemed to be having some sort of smell problem. We again asked for a room change and floor change and were offered a nice room. I appreciated the staff for accommodating our request.

The male who checked us in was rude...unpleasant...and appeared eagar to quickly check us in even though no one else was waiting. We believe his was there for the paycheck and not to represent Marriot. Bad first impression but the rest was excellent!

Bathroom shower doors, so hard to slide. The bathroom door does not have a lock on it. I couldn’t prop the main door open. The lever did not work. But it was for one night, with friends to come over for a drink. Bathroom door not able to lock. I had to put up a sign to say knock first. They did accommodate my wishes. As far as where I wanted my room to be.

Had a pretty excellent stay, just about everything was on point. Except..I wish I had brought my own pillow, they were too flat for my comfort. Yet, nothing worth not giving them credit for a great hotel stay otherwise. :)

We were warmly greeted at the front desk upon check in! I believe she was the manager but she had short blonde hair and was so so nice and engaging with me and my family! Felt us feel very welcome! Will definitely return!
