Premier Inn Cheltenham Central (West/A40) Hotel

Natalia and Joel were excellent at 06.00 this morning at breakfast. They were so enthusiastic and happy at that time in the morning, they really did set us off on the right step. I would definitely recommend breakfast here if you’re feeling hungry! Staff are amazing! Thanks.

One of the better PI hotels that I have stayed at. TGI Friday next door for diner as the hotel restaurant was for breakfast only. The room was comfortable and clean. I come to Cheltenham regularly and will book here in preference. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful.

Chosen for it's convenient location for a family party the hotel itself is fairly small and in need of some modernisation in the rooms, all clean but somewhat tired. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and we would like to make special mention of the Chef named Joel. He ran the small dining area and kitchen spotlessly and very well. All of the food was presented excellently and was always fresh as was cooked to order. The hot breakfast was very tasty and filling. Joel was very polite and eager to ensure that we received excellent service. He was assisted by a female colleague in the dining room but regretfully we do not know her name...

Great location for where we needed to be. TGI Fridays at the side was a big bonus for us to have something to eat quite late on in the evening. Car park was fine; no issues. Check in was very quick & easy. Staff were very polite & respectful. Family room was good with plenty of room. Room was clean with fresh bath towels & hand towel provided. Tea & coffee facilities in the room. Bedding was clean & fresh. Beds were a little too hard for me personally but it would not stop me staying here again. Plenty of breakfast choices for everyone & the dining room was cosy & clean. Staff helpful too. The cooked breakfast, especially the eggs need seasoning; a little bland. Chef was lovely though. More teapots needed. Check out was easy. Would definitely return to this Premier Inn.

Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend in March. Standard premier inn, comfy bed, clean and modern. The breakfast room is small and can get crowded. TGI Fridays is right next door but no other places to eat or drink close by. Nearest pub is 20 minutes walk and not many shops close by. It takes about half an hour to walk into Cheltenham from the hotel, or you can hop on the bus which runs every 10 minutes or so in the daytime. Good base for exploring the area as close to major roads and out of the city centre. Reasonable price.

It is very disappointing that free internet which is so slow and required to pay extra for better one. There is no refrigerator and hotel kitchen only provide breakfast, so you can’t buy any beer, cold drink and simple food more than one day.

Great location, right next to TGI Fridays ….so was very handy for dinner, nice friendly receptionist,that’s always nice, great room ,it’s only a small hotel, so it’s best to book a time for breakfast,reception do tell you this, as their breakfast room only seats about 10 people at a time, but that’s not a problem, the breakfast is great! …everything you’d expect…my wife’s veggie …that wasn’t a problem veggie bacon and sausage were soon cooked ,Joel the chef and Cynthia who look's after you were great …they obviously work very well as a team ….well done both !

Staff are always friendly and polite and helpful as im disabled and visit frequently to visit our teenager who goes to a local University there. Its the 5th time we've been there. Bed is comfortable, shower nice and food is lovely too. Especially as eating out is hard for my family as im vegetarian and allergy to nuts and husband intolerance to eggs and barley..

The hotel is as exactly as expected for a quick stay , our family only stayed 1 night for a quick visit to my son in University. The only downside to the stay was the room tv only had bog standard TV, and not choice of Netflix etc ,and the bath was a tad small for my liking, but other than that all was great , the staff were brilliant especially at breakfast served by Joel and daveh great guys .we will be coming back in November 2024 for sons graduation.
