We had the most wonderful time at this hotel!!! From the gentlemen who greeted us at the door, to the restaurant staff, to housekeeping, every interaction with staff was top notch. So many little touches made our stay special, We were greeted at check in with whiskey, the snacks in the room were a wonderful surprise, and our room even had its own Christmas tree! We utilized the concierge to make a dinner reservation for us and book a taxi into town, which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and clean. Plenty of on-site parking with valet service offered. We utilized the outdoor hot tub which was great after a long day of walking. We ate dinner at the bistro and the food was amazing. This hotel was a highlight of our trip, we are so glad we stayed here!

This is my third time staying at Hayfield and I’m not sure how it is possible to stay in such a beautiful luxurious place but have it feel so homely at the same time. I really think the staff make it special they are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It isn’t often you stay somewhere and think the staff really all love their jobs. The food is amazing, breakfast is cooked fresh no hot buffet and the choice is huge. We ate dinner in their restaurant Perrott’s and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a break you will want to repeat every year I highly recommend Hayfield Manor.

We had a very pleasant weekend (12-14/04/2024) staying at the hotel. I had arranged a surprise weekend away with my husband to celebrate his birthday and he very much enjoyed the culinary delights on offer in Hayfield. I must commend all the staff on their welcome and a professionalism during our stay. In particular Stephen and all the waiting staff in Orchid’s Restaurant our first evening, They were attentive without being intrusive and thoughtful. Stephen overheard me referencing my husband’s birthday and surprised us with a little birthday plate - A simple but thoughtful gesture. Our experience would have been 5 star except that we had very poor sleep each night due to the mattress on the bed in the room (307). It would appear to be in need of replacement. I brought it to the attention of staff on Saturday evening and they kindly provided a second mattress topper which gave a small amount of extra comfort on our second night. I also mentioned it on check out so that it might be addressed for future guests. Despite the discomfort of the bed, I would hope to return to Hayfield Manor in the future as every other aspect of our stay was wonderful.

The staff in Hayfield Manor are what earns it its 5 star status. There wasn’t one staff member who wasn’t excellent. The hotel itself is very homely and comfortable, although to be fair it could do with a little refresh. The bedroom was comfortable and spacious and the bed was very very comfortable.

Everything you would expect from a hotel of this rating. Impressive from outside with adequate secure parking. Rooms are well stocked with all necessary items and particular nice touch of a chocolate gift on pillows. Evening meal in the Bistro was excellent along with the morning breakfast which was well stocked to meet most requirements. in particular the service in all areas was absolutely perfect. Will certainly be staying again.

Where do i start! Ill start by saying I no longer need to keep looking for my favourite hotel, without a doubt the best 3 nights away we have experienced. There is a wonderful air of calmness in The Hayfield Manor. From the gorgeous welcome on arrival to the open fires and piano player in reception, from the delicious food in both restaurants to the Devine cocktails in the bar I just can not fault The Hayfield Manner. The staff were exceptional, the concierge (Noel) was an absolute gent always ready to help, even offering me a carton of water on return from one of my runs, all with the warmest smile on his face. The room & bathroom was beautiful, everything immacutle. The breakfast was outstanding too, the choices available, the quality of the food and the freshness of everything (especially the fruit salads) were just exceptional. I cant pick a highlight because there were just too many. The location of the hotel was perfect, we loved the 15/20min walk in to the city during the day and again after dinner...also really enjoyed the half hour drive to Kinsale. We didn't get to use the spa but it's on my todo list for next time. If I was to list out the staff who went over and above I'd be naming them all. The worst thing about The Hayfield Manor is leaving...but we will be back! Thank you to everyone there for the most wonderful 3 day break.

Exceptionally friendly, informed, and helpful staff. Great food and bar. Filled with little alcoves where folks can have private conversations in the public areas of the hotel. Close by University College Cork and downtown Cork. Spacious rooms with nice little touches like fresh bottle of water left every day. Recommended by friend who had stayed in 2023 and loved it. We are fans as well and Hayfield will be our lodging of choice on future visits to Cork City.

Our stay in the Hayfield Manor was unbelievable. The single beds were a beautiful big size & oh so comfortable & a very spacious room. The warm welcome was lovely. Food fabulous & the service was top class. I would recommend the Hayfield very highly for a lovely relaxing stay.

We couldn't have asked for better, from meeting the concierge who took great care of us, to reception,to the gentleman who ordered in our coffees and warm scones ,we can't thank ye enough . So welcoming and so kind. To two wonderful Beauticians, the two Karen's ye were fantastic, can't wait to come back, a big thank you for the great care ye gave us. Our room was spectacular so comfortable and cosy.
