Nice hotel with good location, food and room service are excellent. Good size room and the view is awesome ! The only negative side is we can hear the loud music from the street inside the room

We booked a Panoramic Room which is their top price bracket. We had Room 807. The noise from about 9pm to 4am was unbearable. We asked to be moved to the other side of the building which is much better. Ask for a room number 811-816 if booking Panoramic. They look out onto the beach and up the coast of Costa Adeje. The sun starts to hit your balcony around 11.30am until sunset. POSITIVES:big jacuzzi, very spacious, free safe and sauna access. NEGATIVE: The doors do not block the noise from Veronica's *****. If you get a room from 801-808,be prepared to be sleep deprived and cranky from the Super loud Boom boom boom from the nightclubs! It is so intense, I wanted to check out of the hotel. Beds are not worthy of 4 star. They are cheap, thin MATTRESSES AND BED FRAME SQUEAKS ALOT. They feel like a child's mattress. Very surprising and UNCOMFORTABLE to lie on. The bedding and sheets were very old and discoloured. The new sheets even had stains embedded in them even after they were changed. Bathroom sinks are yellow and discoloured. The Balcony feel like they need a good clean. The glass surround on balcony was very dirty. Balcony is very bare. Overall the room seems like it is luxurious at first glance but they then seem to leave all the attention to detail and you see it's really falls short of a 4 star premium rate room. They need to add a few things to make it stand out. Suggestions for the Hotel Management: >Complimentary Earplugs for all guests facing Veronica's Night Clubs. >New Beds and Mattresses >Change out all bedlinen for new ones as the "fresh sheets" have stains and are discoloured >Install Mattress Toppers for added luxury and softness to beds. These are great if you have couple who have twin beds who would like to join the bed as one king side bed. Many 4*+5*hotels use this method to turn a twin bed into a king bed and make it more comfortable >Deep Clean of Bathroom and Balcony >Binoculars would be an excellent addition as a luxury touch in Panoramic Rooms to take in all the distant views and landmarks. >Add some plant pots + a Small Table and Chairs to Balcony FOOD: We went all inclusive but usually just had breakfast and dinner. Selection of food was good . I'd suggest the hotel add regular bacon as the streaky bacon was very fatty and either stuck together burnt or very pale and not cooked enough. Lunch selection is good, salads, meat, cakes, dessert. I'd suggest they add more leaner cuts of meat. They seems to do pork chops alot. How about chicken breast? I've not seen that in the hotel restaurant. No drinks of any sort with lunch, not even water. So remember if they ask you if you want a drink, it's getting added to your bill. Staff:Reception staff are great cleaning staff too. Reception queue though seems very very slow especially for the few hours around check in and check out. They need to be prepared for that with extra staff or a quicker process. Pool:there are lots of beds to choose from. 3 pools whi

I have just returned from a week at Hotel Troya. The hotel is lovely in a great location. The beds are very comfy, albeit mine was a bit squeaky. Rooms were cleaned daily. The staff are lovely and very helpful. My sister had a minor complaint about a couple of staff at outside bar who seemed a bit uninterested but after speaking to Oscar at reception there was an instant improvement in the staffs demeanor so good to note constructive criticism is taken on board. Special shout out to the snack bar chef and the young lad Franco in same bar who went above and beyond.

Great hotel, exellent location- hard to find better one in playa las americas . Rooms cleaned every day ,modern rooms . Meals always hot most cooked for you directly with take some time but you have fresh 🙂 . Staff very nice and helpful. I read lots of comments before I booked here . Many people said is noisy from discos and bars . This is playa americas don't expect that place will be quiet.

I booked a room with balcony or terrace. As you can see from my pictures from outside, the room is on the 7th floor with only a window, in a corner overlooking the car park and hotel wall opposite. The thick net curtains can't be opened. At check in the clerk handed me a key and pointed to the lift area. I took my luggage to the room and had to then go back down to ask for a safe key. I paid a deposit and daily charge. The desk clerks are not welcoming. There is a phone but no service instructions in the room. The 2nd day I asked for a room change and was told the hotel was full. I went again on the 3rd morning to ask for a room change, to be told I was too late and had to ask before breakfast. I then got the impression they were not going to help me. If I wanted a hot drink I had to boil the kettle on the floor as the only working plug socket was at the back of the fridge near the floor. This is dangerous. There is nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom except the floor.

We first visited this hotel in September 23 when my parents were staying there. When we returned to Tenerife in February we decided to stay here for a change from our usual hotel. Upon arrival a young female was working at the desk. I gave our details and she just said "passports". Handed these over, she told us out room was ready & told us our room number. No friendly welcome which most places do (how was your journey etc). We weren't given any information for example about the safe. I enquired about this and was given the key & told the price. During our check-in, the female decided to have a conversation with another worker from the hotel. We found this very rude. We had to ask where the lifts were to get to our room. Hotel & room is immaculate (we had a sea view room). Just a pity & huge disappointment that the air conditioning was NON EXISTENT. We couldn't find any controls in the room, the only thing we thought was that the dial at the side of the bed may control it. But we were wrong, this did nothing. It really was just as well we were on the 7th floor (723) seaview room. This meant we got a nice breeze with the doors open. The next morning on our way out we decided to speak to reception about the air con issue. Wish we hadn't bothered, we barely got the words out & he said "it DOES work. He was very dismissive which made me think there was indeed an issue. We told him our room number and again he said it worked. Not even offering to get it checked. Poor poor service. Pool area, restaurant, room & public areas were all well kept, clean & modern. No complaints there. The pool bar service was very very slow & again no real customer service skills shown by the staff. Checking out was literally here is your bill. I had to ask for our safe key deposit back. Not once were we asked how our stay was etc. The kinda thing you would expect to be asked. All in all we had an amazing holiday, but due to the non existent air con & poor poor customer service we would not return, nor recommend to anyone.

Booked room with balcony or terrace. I was put in a room with a window only, overlooking the car park. Curtains would not draw back. Also couldn't boil the kettle unless I put it on the floor to use the only plug socket by unplugging the fridge. I asked at reception for a room change but told hotel was full. Hotel reception staff not helpful at all.

On arrival I believed we were half board for our stay, I must have booked it wrongly so not happy, however after seeing the fantastic condition of this beautiful hotel I was gobsmacked by it, if I could fault it we were given a room with a tiny side balcony less than a metre in width , Room was superb quality , walk in shower massive in size, immaculately cleaned corridors no waiting for lifts, pool area wow, breakfast cannot be faulted apart from watery OJ Would come back without hesitation.
