Tabist Yuen No Yado Fujimi

The location name in googlemaps is Fujimi Inn. They provide free alcohol corner for guest as well as so many soft drinks. We were very impressive. The staff was very kind and helpful. They also provide free parking spot at the restaurant parking lot on the opposite side of the road.

Clean and cmfortable rooms, bathroom and showers close by. Mats were thick enough to be comfortable, while still giving an authentic Japanese experience. Not much in the immediate area, but great park and restaurants were a 15 to 30 minute walk. Desk person seemed a bit brisk, but not rude.

It’s a lovely traditional inn, though quite out of the way. We only stayed one night, but had some difficulty getting a taxi to take us to the station since they don’t usually drive down that street, and there were no Ubers that serviced the area. Other than that, it was an interesting experience— the rooms were very cute with traditional mats and futons. The shared toilets and showers were clean, though a bit old, and the view from the roof was nice. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for tourism/sightseeing since it’s so far from everything, but it was a comfortable and interesting stay for us to end our trip with.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not like that people would use the shower then exit but leave the lights on and the door closed. I waited to shower for one hour before realizing nobody was in there. Maybe have a sign that indicates to keep the door open to ventilate after showering and to also show that the shower is unoccupied.

Spent the afternoon soaking intheview from Mt. Fuji. Noise from the other room can be heard though. other than that it was a nice experience.

Absolutely recommend! Fantastic stay for a great price! Staff were awesome and it really felt a home! I can not emphasise enough how awesome our stay was.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at a hotel that fell far short of my expectations. If you are considering staying at this establishment, be aware that it is nowhere near the Fuji tourist destinations, which is a significant drawback in itself. Allow me to elaborate on my negative experience. Upon entering the hotel, I found the cozy lounge area to be the only redeeming feature. However, the pleasant atmosphere quickly dissipated once I entered my room. The overwhelming stench of old furniture and mold pervaded the air, making it difficult to breathe comfortably. It was a truly disappointing and unsanitary situation. One area that particularly stood out for all the wrong reasons was the comic section. Rather than being a place of relaxation, it felt nauseating and stagnant, as if the air hadn't been freshened in a long time. The stale environment only added to my discomfort and dissatisfaction. The smoking area of the hotel was another letdown. It appeared old and neglected, with layers of dust coating the surfaces. It was far from an inviting space, making it clear that the hotel management did not prioritize maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests. Moving on to the roof area, it was the only part of the hotel that could be described as decent.
