we had a week here the last week of October wow absolutely brilliant hotel. We did upgrade the room so we had a balcony, the room was spotless and very nice. You do have to ask for a kettle for tea and coffee making in your room but this was delivered very quickly. The front of house staff are amazingly friendly and polite, The food is amazing and the restaurant staff are also equally as good Matteo who served us was absolutely brilliant and cannot do enough for you i really cannot say how good the food is here and the wine list is also wow. Just want to say thank you for a brilliant stay and me and my wife loved your hotel thank you

We have just returned from a week staying here and what a week it was! The holiday was to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday and also our wedding anniversary so we splashed out on 2 Junior Deluxe Suites with large balconies, overlooking the lake. The hotel gave us adjoining rooms with our friends and both rooms were stunning with enormous beds, beautiful traditional furniture and very spacious bathrooms. In addition there was a walk in wardrobe/dressing area with mirrors and lots of storage space. The room was equipped with a kettle and teas and coffees were replenished daily. The toiletries provided were very generous in size and smelled gorgeous. Fluffy robes and slippers were in each bathroom and proved really useful when going down to use the indoor pool in a morning. There was also a fridge and an electronic safe. The rooms are kept immaculate by the wonderful cleaners and towels are replaced regularly. The rooms have everything you could possibly need and if you should find anything missing, reception are happy to help at all times. We booked Bed & Breakfast but chose to eat in the hotel on 2 of our evenings (birthday and anniversary) and what a treat that was. The food in this hotel is sublime and every morsel was of the highest standard (I only wish I could have brought the chefs home!) The breakfasts were also amazing with lots of choice of different fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereal, pastries, breads and then cold meats and cheeses plus scrambled egg and bacon. There is also a menu on the table each morning from which you can order a further selection of food. Prosecco and fresh orange for a morning Mimosa was the order of the day for us! The waiters and waitresses work incredibly hard making sure everything is restocked, clean and tidy and you are never kept waiting for anything. Coffee was replenished constantly at our table and the clearing away of dirty plates was very speedy. Special thanks to Sharon who was wonderful and the 2 waiters working with her (I am so sorry that we did not get your names but we had the large round table in the window so hopefully you know who you are!) There were a couple of stand out moments for us. The first being my husband's birthday which we had not mentioned but can only assume the staff had seen his cards in the room. There was a knock at the door as we were getting ready for dinner and a bottle of champagne with ice bucket and flutes arrived, courtesy of the manager and staff. This was such a lovely surprise and we were quite overwhelmed. We celebrated with our friends on the balcony before going down for dinner! Thank you very much indeed, it made a really special day even more memorable. The second stand out occasion was the wine tasting evening with Stephan, the hotel manager. We had pre booked this for the Friday evening and is for a for a maximum of 6 people. It was 30Euros per person and is held in the hotel's private wine cellar. We spent a fabulous 2 hours learnin

Here we are returning to Regina Adelaide wondering if it will be as good as in 2019 & yes it is still a beautiful hotel. We had a room in the annexe again (above the coffee /cake /bakery shop) and it is very Italian - although not the biggest of rooms it is ample for a visit to Lake Garda. The hotel is so well situated for the town, the ferry, bars & restaurants. You always wonder if a return will be as nice but it was - we again opted for half board because the food was so gorgeous last time & it didn’t disappoint this time either! Like fine dining every night. Breakfast is plentiful with usual choices and evening meals are 4 courses with a few choices and cooked to order. We again had bikes from the hotel & did a trip to Lazise (45 mins which would probably be a long walk ) as there was a market ( massive and moves around the lake so you can usually find it somewhere!) then back to Bardolino for a mooch and a drink. You do get a lock with the bikes and there is no charge for the hire 👍 and the cycle beside the lake is flat with beautiful scenery all around. We did a trip to Malcesine - caught the bus there - takes about hour depending on stops - the cable car queue was far too long in the heat ( not that I was that keen anyway lol) so we just wandered around the castle ruins (€6 each) which was actually quite interesting and the views were amazing ..after that a mooch around the town streets and a bite to eat before catching a ferry back ( takes 1.5 hours but is a relaxing way to spend a sunny afternoon). We also took a ferry to Sirmione one day which is also worth a visit. The hotel has a nice pool area with comfy sunbeds so is ideal for the “rest” days to catch a tan! The pool bar is well set up and the food again is worth a try. There is also a lovely garden area where you can have pre dinner drinks and catch up with other guests, if you so wish. We did have a piano player one evening in the bar area which was pleasant to listen too with an after dinner drink. I would highly recommend this hotel - in fact I did already so a few friends have visited since our first time here and had a very enjoyable experience. Yes I would go back.

We have just returned from our third excellent week's stay at the beautiful Regina Adelaide Hotel alongside the lake in the centre of Garda. We again booked directly with the Hotel taking advantage of a special offer that included a discounted price for stays of 7 days or more and free transfers from Verona Airport to the Hotel and return to the Airport at the end of the stay. We booked a superior double room with balcony on the fourth floor of the original building. The bedroom and bathroom were both nicely furnished with air conditioning, fridge, mini bar, and TV and an electronic safe. An excellent free wifi service is provided throughout the hotel and grounds. We again stayed on a half board basis with dinner served in the main restaurant every night and breakfast taken on the outside garden terrace in the morning. We very much enjoyed all the food and drinks served. The facilities available to guests were excellent, including extensive gardens, a large well maintained outdoor swimming pool, and a pool bar serving lunch, drinks and snacks. The Hotel has recently upgraded its Sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool and heated indoor swimming pool all of which are available to guests at no additional charge. The Beauty Centre offers various treatments for additional charges. The hotel has a separate patisserie shop and café located in one of its outbuildings. On our latest visit we again found all the staff exceptionally efficient, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The gardens are lovely and the open air terrace to the ornate wood panelled cocktail bar is a great place to relax of an evening. Entertainment was provided in the bar on one night of our stay and various other concerts are provided by the Local Council in and around the nearby main square. The Hotel could not be better located only a short walk from the bus station, the ferry pier, the lakeside promenade and the shopping streets. Our third stay at the hotel was another really excellent and relaxing experience. We would recommend it highly and we definitely intend to return again.

Our friends and ourselves had a fabulous stay. The Hotel was very traditional and comfortable and perfectly located with lots of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. The ferries were also close, so great for hopping on and off to visit some other towns. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with good balconies and all the staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was a wonderful experience for dinner, superb food and wine and again top class service. Highly recommended and can't wait to return.

Hotel Regina was just perfect! Our first time visiting Lake Garda and our experience could not have been better. Fabulous location, shops, cafes, markets all so welcoming and friendly. The hotel and its staff exceeded all expectations and no request was ever too much trouble. We felt welcomed and as this is a smaller family owned hotel we felt part of the family and very comfortable within our surroundings. The Food was amazing, the buffet breakfast gave ample choice and silver service evening dining was superb again with plenty of choice and variety throughout our stay. Particular credit and gratitude to Filerico, who was our regular waiter. He was very attentive to our needs, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our room was a spacious junior suite overlooking the lake. Very comfortable and well maintained throughout our stay. We were particularly impressed with the evening reconfiguration (turndown service). The free bike hire offered by the hotel is a wonderful service which we utilised and fully enjoyed a day out cycling along the lake and visiting Bardolino. We truly had an amazing week and although not ones to return to a previous hotel we will definitely return to Hotel Regina. We are already planning our next trip. We can't thank the hotel staff enough.

Traditional hotel, staff friendly and professional, breakfast plentiful and varied. Excellent pool area and bar, enough loungers most days, only filled up slowly up til about 3pm, rare that there was nowhere to sit around the pool. We had a Junior Suite which was spacious and comfortable with a balcony facing the lake (but mature trees prevented a good view of the lake). Garda is a lovely town with lots of restaurants and bars, shops open until 10pm so lovely atmosphere. Would definitely return.
