Residence Villa Giardini

Our Villa was basic, but our room was clean & tidy, our room got cleaned every day, with the towels being replaced three times and our bed linening was replaced twice. All the staff were helpful & friendly, the pool bar and restaurant was very good. The pool was also very but you had to pay 4 Euros for the sun beds & unbrella each day. The complex had security gates for going in and out. Together with a lifeguard who stayed by the pool daily. The complex was walking distance to the beach and numerous bars and restaurants.

Lovely, quiet hotel, really enjoyed the pool and garden. Staff are very friendly and very willing to help. The hotel is close to the beach and restaurants and you have a beautiful view. It a wonderful holiday destination.

We spent a lovely week in Villa Giardini. Comfortable pool, good size for swimming located in very well kept sourroundings. Nice little pool bar where the staff was very serviceminded and helpful, we enjoyed some nice wine there and panini. The hotel is quite close to the beach and to a small mini marked in the direction of the beach with all the neccessary groceries. Water can fortunately be bought in the reception, were the staff was very nice and welcoming. Our spacious room was on the 3 floor, no lifts in the building, so we were prepared for stairs. The hotel was built in 1978 and last renovation was in 2004 and the rooms are definitively well overdue for a makeover into the 21’s Century. The bathroom was a little on the small side, the shower in particular. Would recommend removing the bide and adding to the shower area if doing any renovations. Also could use some more hooks in the bathroom to hang towel on. Our toilet also had tendency to keep flushing, so we had some fights with it to sease flushing.. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows just has to go! They were like sleeping on a flat slab, impossible to form or mold into any shape. The balcony had a great view over the pool, beach and ocean. And we could also see Taormina and Castelmola in the distance. It was very lovely, particulary in the night. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and have no reservations giving our reccomendation.

Lovely spacious apartment with balcony. Plenty of storage space. Very friendly staff. Nice large pool with plenty of sun beds. Good bar/restaurant with plenty of food available. In a good location, close to lots of bars and restaurants

Villa Giardini is not the most modern of hotels but it is outstanding in terms of service, cleanliness and welcome. Swimming pool and bar/restaurant all good. The staff were great. I was very late arriving and they had gone to the trouble of checking out my flight delay and holding the room.

Nice and quiet Hotel in the evening and night. In the morning Not so much! Woke up every morning at 07 by the cleaning ladys rumbling about in the hallways and nextdoor rooms. The standard was very poor and must be from the 90's some time. They only came to wash and clean the room every 2. days This is Not the standard of a 3 star complex, at the most 2 star would be appropriate. And they charge you extra for using the sunbeds by the pool, 8 euros for two sunbeds and umbrella, a day! Very quiet poolbar that doesn't make you want to stay there much. Ok Staff.

Good location, near the beach and the restaurants. Beautiful view from the pool. Pool restaurant was good and affordable. Apartment was very old, need renovation. Good air-condition.No isolatian, you hear all the noices. Cleaning only every second/third day, did not change the sheets.

Rooms are very outdated and you don’t have much kitchen equipment, but you’re only there to sleep mostly so it didn’t really matter. Shower is small. Cleaning was fine, every other day. Isolation is not great, you can hear your neighbors go to the toilet. View on the poolside is amazing! You have to pay to get 2 sun beds with a parasol at the pool, around 5 euro for a day. Airconditioning and wifi was included. Parking your car costs 8 euro per night. Close to the beach, boulevard, restaurants and clubs.

Old, no-frills facility. Pool is only open for a limited time and you have to pay extra for a chair. Tiny shower. Our room had a view of the parking lot. Definitely not worth the price.
