We’ve spent 3 nights in this wonderful ryokan which is ideally situated to visit the numerous attractions of Hagi. We had a tatami suite opening on the beautiful garden, and was very well equipped. The public baths use sea water. The cuisine quality is of the highest standard for a price which remains reasonable. Service is impeccable.

萩市内の便利な場所にあります。建物は古い部分もありますが、清掃は行き届いていました。館内のいたる所に歴代の総理大臣や維新関連の方の書などが展示されており歴史の重みを感じます。 食事は夕食は部屋食、朝食は会場の形でした。華美なものはありませんが、古典的で手堅い料理が多く、美味しく頂きました。 フロント脇には市内観光のパンフレットが多く揃っています。萩は歴史地区などは車での観光が難しいのですが、宿から直接自転車を借りられるので、自転車で観光をすることが可能です。 お風呂はこじんまりとした造りで露天風呂がないので、大浴場・露天風呂至上主義だと物足りなく感じるかもしれません。

時間が遅めに到着しましたが、食事も個室で対応頂けました。感染症対策も十分とられており、 夕食、朝食とも食事もおいしく頂き、家族みんな楽しみました。

施設の独特感と特別感は素晴らしい。
辛口の評価は、共用のお風呂が狭く、朝は湯の温度も低く、非常に残念であった事と、自販機の設置が無かった点に依る。
