Auszeit Hotel Hamburg

We booked this hotel based on two criteria: safety (location) and reviews. We were more than satisfied on both counts. This hotel is definitely worth the reviews. And it is located in a residential area which is quiet and a 10 minute walk to the StrasseBahn/Bus Station. We used the S-Bahn to get into Hamburg everyday. It was a 25-30 min. ride and completely hassle-free. There are two huge grocery stores in either side of the hotel so you can shop for your conveniences. There is a pharmacy and all other shops if you want to linger in that area. This was our first trip and we spent most of it in the central area of Hamburg. We arrived around 9 pm on our first night and I was concerned about the phone "keys" and I didn't see any personnel but it turned out to be easy and uncomplicated. They send all the instructions and you just follow them. The room key and number was sent via email and one can download their app too. The keys work regardless. The room was quiet, clean and very welcoming. We did have breakfast every morning and were warmly welcomed by the staff. I was so surprised because we have heard about the stereotypical Hamburg gruffness. They went out of their way to accommodate our dietary needs even though we hadn't requested anything extra and there was plenty to eat within our dietary restrictions.The breakfast is typical of all German boutique hotels. We enjoyed the beautiful room and the tasteful decor. Also, enjoyed the touches of ecological consciousness and gentle reminders to do our bit for the planet. Even though the hotel is quite far from inner city Hamburg, it is very conveniently accessible by public transport and I would base myself here again if I visited Hamburg in the future.

The host couple are so gracious and accommodating. The rooms are nicely appointed and very quiet. The electronic room key and free secure parking are bonuses. You can check yourself in if you come after hours. While I did not try the breakfast, it looks amazing. This is our third stay, if you're in Hamburg they are highly recommended!

My husband and I were on a vacation and we needed to stay in a hotel for one night only. He found this online and decided we could stay here. We got an email from the management to advise us about instructions regarding checking in online. We were surprised with the other instructions and just said, let us see what happens. It was amazing - we checked online, we got into the parking garage and entered our rooms using technology. Talk about no contact check in! No worries, there were people at the front desk if you had problems. Looks like the system was new and they were trying it out. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a good sleep. There are a lot of things amazing about this hotel. I love the staff, from the front desk to the kitchen staff - they were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so good! The waffles were so yummy! And the staff was always there to tend to our needs. It was a great breakfast and looking out into the garden full of flowers was a great way to start the day. I highly recommend this hotel

I was very concerned about the location but Train station at Neugraben is only 3 blocks away. Transportation to downtown and tourist areas piece of cake in S3 train. Great price, very clean, Wifi, excl. breakfast, reg./ckout online 4 automated entry, & staff very helpful.

Great hotel.

Loved the hotel, the staff where very friendly, helpfull and attentive! The train and bus station is very convenient as are the shops and supermarket. The dinning room look great and we are told the food is good, but we did not get to experience that, as our family live very near an we eat with them. We have stayed in another hotel in town,but this one is far superior, the decor, cleanliness and location all win top marks. We had a little issue in that we had ordered and had confirmed a cot was needed, but when signing in it was not booked, but that also shows how good the staff were it was no problem and one was produced very quickly. Could not recommend the hotel enough.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. We felt so relaxed and welcome there, and we would love to come back another time. The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet, and the owners and the staff are really attentive to all your needs and always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is nice and so is the breakfast restaurant which is very cozy and makes you want to sit and enjoy breakfast a bit longer. We would especially recommend this hotel when hiking the Heidschnuckenweg due to it's location close to Fischbecker Heide and close proximity to other hike on the trail. The hotel also offers free parking in their underground garage.
