Walls seemed paper thin. You could hear every footstep outside your door. As well as a very very load AC UNIT in room. Almost felt like there was a washer or dryer above your bed. Not worth the money to upgrade our room and get no sleep.

The resort and beach are beautiful. All the staff were very nice and helpful except for the bartenders in the Desires night club. The service was slow and they ignored our group. Our mini bar and coffee were not restocked daily.

My husband and I enjoyed this remarkable property to celebrate our wedding anniversary! As preferred guests, we were greeted with champagne and escorted to the Preferred Guest Lounge, complete with a full bar and and appetizers. We checked in and was escorted to our room, which exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend the Preferred Master Suite - it came with a double balcony, interior and exterior jacuzzis, rainfall double shower, living room area, desk, bar and two bathrooms.
Room service is included with a vast menu. Preferred members also don’t have to reserve cabanas.
Some restaurants do require dress code or you can skip the hassle and order room service.
We booked an ATV & Cenote tour through the hotel - highly recommend!
We also celebrated our anniversary with dinner on the beach and it is a memory we will cherish forever.
We are already planning our next vacation to another Secrets property.
Secrets Playa Mujeres does not disappoint!
