Love love love this hotel! I work nearby but live over 2 hours away and book here every week

We had two rooms both of which had significant water damage. Paint was peeling off the wall. Mold and mildew were growing on the ceiling. They smelled really bad. I don't understand how you could even put guests in these rooms. We've stayed at several Comfort Inns, and this is by far the worst rooms we've ever seen.

All the elevators were broken. Had to use stairwell that anybody could access because all the doors of the hotel we’re wide-open. AC unit had mold in it ceilings had water damage nastiest place I have ever seen in my entire life.

The hotel is okay overall. Parts of my room had been falling apart (like ceiling in bathroom had paint peeling, socket that plugged in wall for tv cable was apart and exposed, ceiling in main room was marked up with either water marks or whatever). But the BEDS themselves, the sheets/bedding---the towels---and appliances worked and were in good condition!! So only had issues with the ceilings and socket for my particular room. I missed out on breakfast (because I slept late)...but other the maid knocking on my door an hour before checkout even with the DND sign on the door (which I mentioned to the maid herself as well as the front clerk) , the stay was quite nice. The front desk clerk for the day of my check-in was also there the next morning (her name being SAMETRICE). She's a SUPERBLY--EXCELLENT ...bubbly, effervescent, and concerned for my happiness type of front desk representative. I stay in approx 6-15 different hotels a month...and some folks at the front desk are business polite (which is okay, but sometimes robotic and just going through the motions) -- not personable. Nor do they do out of their way to make the customer feel welcomed and at home. When someone works in the hospitality business--they should be hospitable. SAMETRICE was very nice, friendly, hospitable, and more. Even though the hotel had some issues with cosmetic looks that need to be addressed, I might just have to stay here again when I'm in the area-- just for the wonderful personality and service from Sametrice and another staff member from the morning (not sure if he was maintenance as I didn't catch his name) but he was also helpful and friendly.

Hotel is horrible. Water damage and mold throughout the hotel. Walls were completely soaked and carpets filthy. The walls are falling apart and paint is falling off the wall and ceiling. The room smelled like they drenched it in bleach to hide the smell of the mold.

Okay…so I liked it here overall. What it boils down to is this…you get what you pay for as far as a clean, safe, good vibes hotel. The beds are comfy which I was surprised about. I ended up staying here actually about a week bc I was on a trip and outta all the hotels I stayed at this one was the best one. But, the reason I’m giving such a low review is 2 employees that work here. Their horrible and idk how they still got a job. I even recorded the dude as hell desk lady that works I’m guessing 2nd shift. She was yelling and so mean to my 15 yr old son. She will yell at you and be so rude to you for you to wear a mask but she won’t have one on. The janitor/maintenance man is an older man and he’s just as rude. But what pissed me off is he mocked my kids bc they would wanna go outside seldomly. They didn’t bother nobody but he hated my kids from day 1.

DO NOT BOOK THE COMFORT INN IN JACKSON, MS. 465 BRIARWOOD DR. I woke up around 3am to bites from my temple to my shoulder in bites from BEDBUGS! Read the reviews on Google, the owner knows about this but has neglected to fix it. SHUT IT DOWN
