The hotel staffs greeted us almost immediately after I turn into the parking lot just outside the hotel.
Took a while to get used to the musky smell when first entering the room but it’s all good.
Room was spacious and opt for the Japanese style.
Love the lake view and enjoy the trail walk nearby.
Breakfast was good with the beef choice

The Lake view is superb and I love it so much. Room is perfectly new modern design and very clean as well. Just sit and relax at the window without doing anything is really enjoying because the lake Akan view is really perfect.

The service is very good, breakfast and dinner buffet, beautiful scenery, and fireworks bonus. Although the bathroom is a bit simple, the price of the lake view room is advantageous. You can just sit in the room and watch the fireworks! Although the itinerary was a little rushed, resulting in a late arrival at the hotel, it was really touching to be greeted at the door by the staff with the check-in list on a snowy day.

The view from the hotel is really great and the environment is quiet

Otherwise, you can take a lot of nice photos

The large public bath is clean and relaxing, but unfortunately there is no window or open-air bath. You may be more satisfied if you go to Tsuruga to take a bath after arriving and before eating.

The service in the hotel is very good. The meticulous breakfast and dinner that are unique to Japanese people are confirmed one by one when checking in. They are ready at the appointed time. The facilities are older, probably because of their age, but they are in a good state of maintenance. The food The food is average, not particularly amazing, but the quality is okay and the taste is not bad. However, the crab legs and prawns that were available at Lake Akan Hotel before were not slightly regrettable. There is a fireworks show at the hotel around 8 o'clock in the evening.
