HOTEL WAS CLOSED UPON ARRIVAL! A note was posted on the door saying they were OVERBOOKED & UNDERSTAFFED & to obtain a refund from the third party that we booked through. I sent a message to ******* 3 days ago and received no response. I also called the hotel who again referred me back to you. PLEASE HELP ME OBTAIN MY REFUND.
We arrived after midnight very tired, hungry and cold, just wanting to eat what we brought and go to bed. Imagine our shock. We stopped by a few other hotels but they were either booked or cost twice as much.
I understand things happen; especially in this post pandemic world. Seems everyone is short staffed. But the fact that no one called to inform us was unacceptable. I asked the hotel clerk why that was. She said they are only given the name of which the reservation is under, not a phone number. Therefore, ******* should have called us to offer another room close by.
Please help me resolve this situation by issuing a refund immediately. Thank you.
