The hotel is very far outside the city center. However, accessible by public transport. Unfortunately, the advertised quiet location directly on Leipzig's floodplain forest turned out to be only partially true. In the booked standard room (side track) of the hotel, sleeping with the window open was not possible due to the traffic at night and the nearby construction noise that began early in the morning. At least it was possible to change rooms to the indoor track without any problems, which turned out to be much quieter.
Overall, the hotel is a bit old, but made a tidy and well-maintained impression.
The breakfast was simple, a bit bland but OK. We arrived in our electric car and of course wanted to charge. Despite the existing charging stations, this was not possible. According to the staff, the charging stations are managed by an external company. The hotel staff didn't know anything about it and emphasized this several times. A pity!
