Club Tenerife Apartments

Nice apartment well stocked kitchen area nice balcony with sea view.we had a bath and shower in our bathroom.supermarket close by so easy to get food if self catering. clean and well presented on arrival.nice touch of complimentary bottle of wine when we checked in.pool is in centre of complex and a bar/cafe surrounding it.there are a couple of terraced areas to sunbathe.as in previous reviews there is a hill back from the beach which requires a level of fitness but only 10 mins walk.great sandy beaches around los cristianos .we enjoyed our break at club Tenerife and would recommend to others .temp in February was 25c most days.

My boyfriend and me just came back from Tenerife and we stayed on this hotel. We loved the apartment, very clean and fully equipped. Perfect location and staff really friendly. Beds really comfy and lil space outside with table and chairs to enjoy some drinks or dinner outside. Just Perfect.

Stayed here with my wife and 2 daughters in a 2 bed duplex which was spacious and the roof terrace had a lovely view, the room was cleaned and bedding changed regularly the kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable all I will say is the rooms need a touch of updating but apart from that we liked the room, the reception staff were very helpful and the family run pool bar was lovely with the food and drinks at a very good price, the swimming pool was always warm but the only downside was people putting towels and reserving beds from very early and not actually using them for a few hours but the hotel did take the towels off in the end , yes I would recommend this place but it is up near the top so the walking at times can get to you but taxis are only 4 to 5 euros from the front to the hotel. The area is surrounded by supermarkets which are cheap and lovely bars and restaurants which are only a 5 to 10 mi walk away.

We had originally booked to stay at Castle Harbour but due to reasons unknown we were offered Club Tenerife as an alternative. The apartment was large, clean and had a well equipped kitchen. A bottle of water and wine was on the table for us which was a nice touch. The beds were 2 singles, we've had this before and usually just push the 2 together, however this was not an option due to the fact the room only had 2 plug sockets, 1 of which was between the 2 beds! If you've got a few electrical items this could be an issue. So separate beds then! To be fair they were comfy enough. It's a very quiet complex at night. We visited reception to check in, the receptionist noticed it had been my birthday the day before and instantly had a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses sent to our room, which was really much appreciated. One tip is to get a key for the various gates and back door to the complex, this will save you having to walk further up the hill to the main door. Within a short walk to several good bars and restaurants and a large supermarket, it's in a good location. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the market which is on Sunday and Tuesday. We certainly wouldn't hesitate visiting here again.

This was a very nice place to stay. The apartments were lovely and had most of everything you needed… couple of extra sharp knives of different sizes would be great. The pool area needs more sun loungers, people just leave towels on all day and don’t even use them which is very frustrating. And yes the pool glass is in need of a clean but it really didn’t bother us. Wasn’t dirty just dry water from splashes. The hotel is located on top of a very big hill. It’s a long trek up ( not too bad down) don’t be fooled by taking the stairs back up - it may be quicker but my lord you feel it! I would advice a taxi, from the centre to the hotel it’s about €5 which isn’t bad. We used the electric scooters in the area which is so fun, be careful though as the locals are not a fan of them… food at the hotel was more pricey than the centre and smaller portions (if you want a burger and chips ask for chips to as the burger doesn’t come with chips - I found this out the hard way). Staff are so lovely though from the receptionists to cleaners and bar staff. The hotel is quiet and we had a lovely Mountain View which was stunning. The centre has loads of restaurants to go to our fav was the cottage and the Mongolian bbq! All in all great hotel and facilities in the room and amazing view, just needs more cutlery and trays for cooking and will be perfect…

This property is clean and the apartments are spacious. The pool area could do with some TlC albeit my children had a great time and enjoyed the holiday. Air conditioning would be a great attribute to the rooms

Enjoyed our holiday here. Some furniture was quite old, but the apartment was very clean when we arrived and serviced well once mid-holiday. Quite a large balcony, spacious rooms for the money and no-frills comfortable. Location very good with a well stocked mini market next door and a few good restaurants and a food market within a few minutes walk. Beach a bit further but we had a car and on-street parking was easy close-by. Pool bar was very good with surprisingly good quality daily food specials and great value drinks. We arrived quite late in the evening and it was very quiet, dark and reception was closed. But the property had sent clear instructions for how to collect our keys. I didn't have high expectations and my first impressions weren't great, but we all (2 adults, 2 kids) really liked this place.

The furniture was a bit outdated so some refurbishment needs to be done. The bath was leaking and needs to be repaired. Also the vans need to be replaced as they didn’t work very well, sonit was really hot inside. There was no dishwasher.

Before I arrived at the hotel , i have read the reviews and i have to say i was a bit worried but has committed to the holiday. I was fully aware that the hotel was at the top of a hill and that the hotel had a small pool. There was a few faults but on balance , the hotel was excellent. The staff was excellent - the life guard was vert attentive , the reception staff was very helpful. The onsite bar was lovely. People need to remember to look at their expectations with the price they are paying and what else is around in the resort. This hotel was excellent value for money - ok some of the furniture was a bit tatty but no hotel would put brand new furniture in family rooms / suites every year knowing kids are going to be in there. Two small criticisms , we arrived after hours and needed the activator for the safe - we could not get hold of anyone that night so had to walk to my friends hotel with £1500 cash and 5 passports to place this into their safe. There was quite a few non residents within the hotel using the pool that also used the sun loungers - did not bother me as such until i could not get one. Thanks for a lovely holiday.
