I liked it very much, we just checked out of the hotel, we stayed for 5 nights, there are friendly staff, it was like our home, they are very friendly, they are very good about cleanliness, the rooms are air-conditioned, very good, the breakfast in the morning was also excellent.

Kaldığımız sure boyunca evimizde gibi rahat hissettik. Tek sorun soğuk yağışlı havalarda en yukarıdaki terasta oturma imkaninın olmayışı. Koltukların minderleri ıslak oluyor belki bir kismının ustü kapanabilir. Çunkü bizim tercih etme sebebimiz bereketli hilali fok güzel görmesiydi. Eşim ve sekiz arkadaşımızla geldik biz perşembe akşamı geldik sis pus yağış ilk gece ve ertesi gün odamızda uyuyamadık yağmur olukları kırık terasa akıyor dere gibi şakırtılı sesler oda sıcak tuvalet ufak wc kötü banyo sıcak su ya gelmiyor gelince de on dakika sonra kahvaltı yapmadık çünkü çok kötü dışarıda yapmak daha iyi iyi niyetli temizlikçi elemanlar konum güzel o kadar

On arrival I had to wait for an hour while my room was cleaned,a cup of tea would have been nice.big dusty comfortable rooms with battered furniture,must have seen some action over the years.
a kettle but you have to bring your own tea/coffee!
Average Turkish breakfast served on the terrace.dont expect any service whatsoever, didn't see any staff after 6pm,only the people from the city partying outside my room on the terrace until 2am,they must have kept everyone awake, nobody to tell them to keep quiet!
Even on checking out I needed some advice on a taxi to the airport, nobody around!
Spend a bit extra and stay at ulubey konegi,my advice!

The room and the accommodation were very nice and with a certain local theme, generating a very rewarding immersion in the tourist climate of the city. The breakfast it was also very good. It is important to point out that the old part of the city is practically a labyrinth, so it was also very difficult to find the location of the accommodation. For those coming by car, an essential tip is to be restricted to driving only on the two main streets that pass through the old part of Mardin, the "Yeni Yol Cd." and the "1. Cadde", because Google Maps will insist on making you enter very tiny cross streets that will be impossible to advance.

The complex itself is in fact great: a traditional Mardin konak. Nice terraces, nice breakfast. The single room however I found not very comfortabel. Hardly any light from outside; a bed which was a bit oblique; bathroom a bit cramped with not enough space in fact for the toilet. Shower: such a modern thing but not everything working and some dirty parts of it standing in the showerplace.
