Don't believe all the bad reviews this place was great. I was there about two weeks-ish in a private room. The room had no AC, but it had a fan. Good bathroom and comfortable for the price. The area is quiet and safe which is what I was looking for. I was working remotely and the internet was OK. They have a lot of tours available and that's nice, I did take part in those too. I also used the laundry service. It has a social vibe and I met great people there. But if you want to keep to yourself and not be bothered that's also not a problem. Later on I moved to another hostel down the street because I wanted AC and a pool, but I would still return to BlackSheep to hang out with my new buddies :)

This place is horrendous! It’s not just a party hostel but a drug store. ***** being delivered 24/7 and people literally not sleeping for days whilst “partying”. Staff fully aware. Lots of very unpredictable and drunk characters that were obvious drug tourists. Not a very nice atmosphere snd had a few of my belongings stolen but the stafff did not care. I did not feel safe and was largely ignored and disrespected because I didn’t take take *****. Very odd bullying behaviour by the drug tourists. If you value your safety snd belongings do not study here.

Great hostel. Alright beds. Not that cheap but it’s a good place to meet people. They let you borrow towels which is great. Good wifi and tv room and terrace as well. The area Poblado is lovely too with good cafe and night life. All round good place.

As good a party hostel as you will find in Medellin, very nice facility, great friendly people, handy location. The party does seem to go on at the outside table 24 hours per day, but I found it easy to get a good night’s rest. The rooms are well thought out and there are numerous areas for quiet and conversation (upstairs patio, balcony, tv room). I didn’t use the kitchen, but it appeared to be well stocked and useable.

It is a friendly and cozy hostel that has all the amenities you need. It is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood close to the metro station and it has restaurants, bars and clubs within walking distance.
I will definitely be back in case i visit Medellin again.
