Arden Motel

Was a good location and affordable hotel.

The motel was in a great location for our day trip to Flemington races and then after the races was close to numerous pubs which we enjoyed a nice meal and entertainment. The room was a little dated but very clean and well set out. I would return again to this hotel.

Room was comfortable, appliances and furnishings quite old fashioned but overall good value for money. Public Transport options are nearby and it's close to the CBD.

It was very convenient and clean. Had a bit of traffic noise at night but able to close doors and put air-conditioning on. The bed was a bit firm. Otherwise no complaints.

Beware of this trash hotel! I’m not one to be writing poor reviews but this has to be one of the most horrible experiences ever. I got to the hotel, it looked like something you find out in the middle of nowhere, it looks dirty and homeless are in the area. When we walked in the area looked really old and it smelled dirty. I was trying to be optimistic and carried on with going to the room the front desk placed us in. There was a lady smoking right outside the room. As we entered it smelled like literal death, feces and urine. I couldn’t get past it, I looked around and the covers had a few hairs on them. I wanted to throw up and as I went to the restroom I noticed a roach. I had seen and smelled enough, I left the room and went to the front desk and said I didn’t want to stay there as the lady had been walking around smoking. The guy in the front desk didn’t seem to care and said he would place me in another room . I declined and he said he would refund but that I had to contact ******* first. I didn’t have reception so I called when I got back home and then ******* calls them and “William” says it’s not allowed since the reservation was cancelled same day. This is the worst experience with booking a hotel and ******* said they wouldn’t refund me because it’s against Policy? The hotel failed to provide a clean room and environment for me to stay in. I am going to fight this til the end, and I will make sure everyone is able to see my review through all platforms.

15 minute walk to Queen Vic Market, close to trams, budget motel with parking. Room comes with microwave, toaster and fridge. Cereal, Bread, condiments and juice including generous supply of milk, tea and coffee.

Property is well located, the staff were very friendly and helpful.Thought the front room near the road was a little noisy. Shower head needed adjusting.
