Old Parsonage Hotel

The restaurant is absolutely amazing. I had the steak and my partner had the fish cakes and both had so much flavour. For dessert we had a chocolate and pear cake which I crave to this day!! The hotel room really mice and luxurious as well.

The staff at this Hotel were probably the most attentive, friendly, fun and professional team of any hotel we’ve stayed in around the world. From the two men upon our arrival, taking us on tours of the hotel as well as explaining local ‘To Do’s to when we submitted Laundry, thought it was lost and the entire team searched and communicated empathetically until we found it pressed and hung neatly in our wardrobe! Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and Dinner were each prepared and served to guests preferences. Ultimately a relaxing, welcoming no and luxurious atmosphere, topped off with the best part, a walk out into a balcony that adjoined the library with fun books, chess games and room service at any time. Definitely stay here !

We spent one night in Oxford and this was a great find: 5 minutes walk to the centre, quiet rooms, modern and comfortable (great bed) with large new bathrooms. Attention to details uncommon. Breakfast was excellent, served in the beautiful dining room. Parking lot smallish, a bit expensive. I would definitely go back.

An absolute jewel of a hotel with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Lovely spacious room with a stunning shower room and toiletries that smelt glorious. Breakfast was delicious and the homemade granola the best I have ever tasted. Car place reserved for our arrival was a lovely bonus. We particularly enjoyed the library, light, airy and so comfortable.

From the moment we arrived we were spoiled! Excellent Reception Team, especially Nisha. Nothing was too much trouble. Service outstanding, food excellent especially breakfast. Afternoon tea in library wonderful. Useful abundant umbrellas

From the moment you enter the doors you are looked after by the delightful staff, they genuinly seem to enjoy their jobs and this makes your stay more pleasant. The room was excellent with little thoughtful touches, beds and pillows are wonderfully comfortable. It is centrally located, but still quiet and an easy walk into the city and the theatre.
