Hotel Casanova

Nice looking room and building but that is where it stops. Lights seem to be on a timer and switch off randomly which can be a hazard. TV volume is locked so low you can't hear it over the outside noise. Towels in bathroom had holes all through it, which didn't matter much as couldn't shower cause there was no hot water at all. To top it off the location appears to be a very bad area and not close to city centre and we didn't feel safe walking around

Casanova… Not a hotel or a B&B. Cash only. No breakfast (a few mini packaged items roll/crackers/pastry in room with sugary juice box), no coffee (odd there was a community kitchen with coffee machine but he wouldn’t let us have any coffee pods), thin walls, noisy streets with sirens throughout the night, small rooms with too big bed frame which we hit our legs below the knees OUCH! Mattress 6” flat terrible that doesn’t fill the big frame, no box spring. The floors weren’t flat as they sloped strangely. Shampoo packets but no conditioner. The gentleman didn’t speak any English and wasn’t Italian as he spoke broken Italian giving us a room and kitchen tour (we arrived in the evening departed 7am). This place is a set of rooms on a floor of an apartment building. You have to beg him to use the wall unit air conditioner (requires remote control to operate). There was really absolutely no excuse for not letting us have coffee, ridiculous!!!
