Artemis Cynthia Complex

Really nice apartment. Very clean. Pools and surrounding areas were very clean too. Free parking on site. We had a great stay and will definitely stay here again when we return to Paphos

When a hotel presents itself as an apartment hotel, you expect a certain level I am not talking about the level of a five-star hotel, but a hotel that will provide a great deal of comfort and pleasantness. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, it became clear that the owners of the place do not exactly understand this. We arrived after midnight, entered the room and thought we would be able to sleep. So we thought. A completely ruined mattress (smaller than the bed frame by at least 15 cm. Full of lumps. It was so terrible that I ended up sleeping on the floor. (For those asking why I didn't sleep on the couch in the living room - it was worse than the bed). Add to that a noisy air conditioner as if we In the middle of a storm and you'll understand why we didn't sleep all night. The next day, signs "shouted" at us from everywhere about what is forbidden and what is allowed and how much of a fine we will receive if we do what is forbidden (ringing the emergency bell in the elevator for example will cost you a 150 euro fine). Attached to this post are photos of the amount of signage we saw from our room to the exit from the elevator (about ten steps). Usually a hotel keeps the credit card information as a deposit in case of damages. I have never been required in a hotel (not a hostel) to pay in advance at check-in a 100 euro deposit to cover future damages. But apparently there is always a first time... here it happens. When I complained at the reception about the quality of the mattress, the receptionist waved me off with clear disinterest, saying, "There are some who like a soft mattress, some who like a hard one, maybe we'll come in and check." Needless to say, they didn't come in, didn't check, and definitely didn't change the mattress Terrible service (simply non-existent - designed to collect money and that's it) outdated, neglected and falling apart furniture

I stayed here with a friend for a short 3 night break and we were pleasantly surprised. The 2 bedroomed apartment was very roomy and had a large balcony. It is in a good location, 15 minute walk to the prom/beach/restaurants. We did walk to the Old Town via a route given on google maps, not advisable! Reception were very helpful with local info and booking us a taxi for a 4:00am return to airport. We loved Paphos and would definitely return to both Paphos and these apartments. Yes, the bathroom is a bit dated but you get what you pay for, it was very clean and conveniently located and a decent place to put your head down at night.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. On arrival we were taken to our apartment and shown how everything worked etc Roxanne on reception could not have been friendlier or more helpful. She booked car hire for us as well as giving us recommendations for local restaurant's, bars and other trip ideas. Apartment, pools and the complex in general were all very well maintained with our apartment being lovely and kept very clean. I couldn't recommend highly enough and would, without hesitation return back to the Artemis Cynthia in the near future!!!

Easy to check-in. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Key safe was easy to access. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The walk to the seafront a comfortable 15 minute walk. Car packing at the complex was plentiful. Safe place for families with children.

We stayed at these apartments from Feb 21st - Feb 28th 2024 and had a wonderful stay. We had a one bedroom standard apartment (the smallest) and this was massive for 2 people. The apartment itself was very tastefully decorated and had absolutely everything needed for a self catering holiday. Large fridge/freezer with a more than big enough freezer compartment. Built in Cooker/hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and a washing machine. There was an ironing board, iron and a hairdryer in the built in wardrobes, a clothes airer to dry your clothes on the massive balcony, mop, bucket, broom and dustpan for all your cleaning needs, and plenty of pots/pans, cutlery and crockery. We had hot water for the shower all week, if it was not so hot you just pressed a boost button for 20 minutes. The complex itself was very well kept and there are four pools, bearing in mind this is not a huge complex, every block has at least one pool right beside it, again the pool areas were all very pretty and very well kept. One pool at least has a small children's pool and none of the pools were very deep, looked about waste to chest deep at most. I didn't personally go in, not brave enough this time of year but did observe a couple of others in the pools. Picking up the keys after arriving after 5pm was a very simple process. Didn't really need to go to reception much but on the couple of occasions I did they could not have been more helpful and friendly, in fact all the workers we encountered around the complex were lovely. The cleaners did not come round during our stay, but this was stated at booking, they will come round once if your staying two weeks though, they did come and change our towels though, this was more like a flat rental to be honest and the apartment would absolutely be an apartment you could live in all year round. You get enough toilet roll to last a while, a dispenser full and actually this lasted us nearly the whole week, so the pack of 12 we bought was hardly needed lol. You also get a dispenser full of washing up liquid, a cloth and a sponge and we were also welcomed with a basket that had a couple of teabags, couple of sugars, couple of packs of biscuits and a bottle of wine, which even though we are tea total I thought was a great touch. You even get a pair of slippers each with your towels on the bed. The aircon was all in with the price and we used it as a heater this time of year, it warmed the apartment well enough. There is also a quite well equipped little gym and free WiFi all over the complex, including in apartment. I like my football and there is very little in the way of English channels on the TV so I took my firestick, if you plan to do this then take a small extension lead as in our apartment there were only two plugs under the TV stand and none nearby and one was used for the TV the other for what looked like a wifi extender behind the TV. I bought an extension lead here but it would be much cheaper to bring one tbh. My firestick

Our booking was done by Jennie who was very helpful and efficient. We arrived late at the complex but the keys we sainting for us and we went straight to our apartment. As it was cold that night I asked Roxanne in reception if we could have another couple of covers for the beds. She said she would send someone over straight away. Great service. The apartment was clean and spacious just what we wanted. Many thanks. We will certainly book again in the future.

The property is good sized but the beds left a lot to be desired for and the sofa practically hurt everytime we sat. Hot water was another big issue where we always had to wait and wait. The instructions are very counterintiutive. Would rather spend a bit more to get proper beds and sofas.

Excellent apartment to stay with family and friends. Would recommend renting a car as they have lots of free parking spaces. Clean and spacious rooms with aircon and wifi. We loved the huge balcony for breakfast. Great swimming pool and friendly staff. Would recommend here!
