Hotel Etoile Trocadero

This hotel is not far from all the action. The location is perfect, only 5-10 minutes walk from Eiffel Tower. The hotel is small and quirky and the staff were very pleasant. They were very kind with our attempt to speak French. They were very helpful. The room itself was small and is showing signs of wear and tear with chipped furniture and tiles loose but it is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is served in the basement and the walk down the stairs is interesting, mostly due to the quirky staircase and auto lighting, It’s not luxury, but there is a charm about the place. It’s clean and comfortable and a perfect location so you can forgive the slightly worn rooms. The only negative… although the hotel itself is quiet, you can hear all sorts in many rooms around you, including people’s alarms, talking and babies having epic tantrums! Just drink the champagne and sleep well! I kinda love it!

The staff is very helpful and friendly and they speak English as well as French. The hotel is compact and the bathroom needed a deep cleaning, and a descaling of the shower head. The breakfast is very simple and the weekday service was far better quality than the weekend, because the food was refreshed and the staff explained everything.

This is a boutique hotel that is serious about cleanliness and offers excellent service. The property is a bit old but full of character. The location is very convenient and is close to one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower.

Location! 4 blocks from the full view of Eiffel Tower! Great restaurants - laundry mat next door - great service & delicious breakfast. Booked a taxi for airport for us! Right on time

We stayed here for 4 nights in July with two rooms, our first impressions of the rooms were a little weathered and not really up to scratch with a 3 star hotel. If you can move on from this everything else's was great. The bed was really comfortable, sheets and duvets crisp and clean. Air con worked but noisy and dripped! Rooms cleaned every day. view from our window was a back yard area, but didn't bother us. The breakfast was amazing, just get there early to get a seat. The staff at this place were amazing and they were the reason i gave them 4 stars, a true asset to the hotel which has seen better days. The location was perfect, 3 metro stations all within 10 minute walking, The Eiffel Tower and River basically on your door step. While there were a few flaws with the property we did not let it affect our holiday. Yes I would book this place again, but probably prefer to save a little more and try and get a 4 star hotel. Its not really a 3 star in our opinion but better than a 2 star.

The hotel was easy to find and based in a great location. The room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. We walked around a lot as all the restaurants in trocadero were walking distance as was the eiffel tower.

Great service, friendly staff and good breakfast. Room as advertised.
