Family of four visiting Parnu for the first time, excited to play and also relax. The beach is amazing, no doubt. But this hotel drained our energy with bad service. Our air conditioner was somewhat broken, either being fully broke or blowing hot air in already warm room of 27 degrees. We went 5 times to complain and ask for help. After the 3rd time we asked to change rooms which was not possible. The staff did nothing to try to help us. I really don’t want to spend my holidays speaking with the front desk so many times. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The room did not have any balconies. The room was not soundproof, we could everyone from the corridors and the next rooms. The breakfast buffet was really crowded. Hard to find seats and always a long line of people to pour water into their glasses. Overall, don’t recommend.

You need to be careful in the spa of the hotel because the trapdoors are open and I managed to fall very unluckily and break my toe. Unfortunately, the hotel staff was very unfriendly and there was no basic first aid in the form of a cold pack or ice. Informing the staff was of no use as the lid later repeatedly floated next to the pool. The hotel manager's "excuse/solution" for causing a broken bone - come and "swim" with us again next time you end up in Pärnu. Also, the room was booked for four people, but towels and bed linen were only for two people in the room, and two people had to ask for them separately from the reception.

The hotel has potential but the service is really bad.. The staff seems annoyed and there is not welcome feeling. They don't clean the rooms without you putting the sign on the door, that room needs cleaning. We wanted to change the towels, so they took them from the floor but didn't bring new ones. The breakfast is ok, but service there is amateur. The waiting staff wait on the line to fill coffee beans/juice, so that people get only water from the machine.. The spa is nice.

We booked three nights and stayed one. Luckily the room wasn’t expensive. There were trousers of previous customer in our bed, poo on the spa and we didn’t get the room type we booked. There wasn’t anything spa related in the room (slippers, conditioner). The air-con was as loud as all the children in the pool area. You werent able to add pool drinks to your room number. I think if you want to have okay place on cheap price, this works.

This time I had only 2 demands for the hotel – it had to have a SPA and a low price family room. Not a suite or junior suite or senior or admiral or a separated twin room or something else expensive. Just a room were to throw the luggage and sleep for time to time. Strand had it. I wouldn’t say, that the family room is bigger than a usual superior room in similar hotels. It has a bed and sofa bed for the kids and you can add a crib too. So in the end there’s no space for family yoga, but I never was a fan of sitting in narrow hotel rooms. Especially with annoying children. But the small room had everything for our needs. There was even a small refrigerator with a positive surprise – it was empty. So I didn’t had to worry, that the kids emptying the mini bar and causing irreversible damage to my wallet and I could fill the refrigerator with my own beer. So big + SPA area is small, but surprisingly never over crowded. There are two pools. One where old ladys swam and a second one, that was occupied by kids mostly. Even if the sign said massage pool or smt, but it was more a kids pool. Maybe because the actual kids pool kinda ****** and was like smaller than my grave one day will be. One hot tub, not very big, but usable. There are only 4 saunas. One is the half warm sanarium for kids. Second was the finnish sauna, that was supposed to be 90 degrees, but it didn’t tickled me much and it was forbidden to throw water on the stones. I don’t know why they try to take the fun away from the finnish sauna?! Third sauna in the locker room (and I think it was the one were throwing water was allowed) was closed and they heat it up only on Fridays and Saturdays. Dunno why. Maybe the owner is coming then to visit… But luckily there was a steam sauna, which was worth its name. The steam engine there, I tell you that, was not spared for a second. The steam was so thick you could cut it with a knife. So the steam sauna saved the SPA’s honor. The kids loved the SPA area, but who is more into rides and slides etc, then in Strand you don’t gonna get it. What’s also worth mentioning is the big kids playground downstairs. With so many attractions it’s like a mini theme park. Recommend that one definately. Food is normal hotel food. Well made, nothing to praise, nothing to talk down. Hotel is clean and staff friendly. Location is more away from the centre, but it’s a small town and everything is reachable in 10 minutes or less with car. Beach was visible from the window, but never went there. In general was worth the money, so thumbs up.

A good location away from the town center, close to the sea. The room was clean as was the linen and towels, the room was a good size! There was a lack of staff for what was mostly "self-service" breakfast was chaos with up to 8 people waiting for a coffee, the food was OK, nothing special. The biggest let down was the staff who seemed disconnected from actual service and zero smiles or personality. Cheap is good, but a smile costs nothing.

On a tour through the Baltics we stayed twice in this hotel, and we liked it. Rooms were a bit small but cozy. Beds are quite small. Location to beach was very good, only a short walk. Breakfast was very tasty, actually the best on our tour. Breakfast room itself could be bigger, as one morning it was challenging to find place. Reception staff was very friendly and efficient. We did not try the spa itself as we were only a very short stop in Pärnu. Free parking was available in front of the hotel with a lot of space.

Extremly uncomfortable and noisy rooms, your holiday becomes nightmare, no sleep possible, unfortunately stuff is not providing any solutions. Location ok, but during the night SPA equipment makes terrible noise/vibrations and nightsleep is not possible, avoid if possible.

I had booked the double room with sofa and spa access. It included breakfast, bath robes and a sea view. On the spot we had to pay €3 for 2 pairs of slippers as they are only included when you book one of their suites. I had read some reviews and didn't expect much for the price that I had paid. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. Checking in was a breeze and we got a room on the 2nd floor. We went to our room to drop off our stuff. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was big and comfortable. We were treated to a wonderful sunset from our hotel room window. Some customers had commented on the spa being small but I found it more than adequate. I especially enjoyed the Finnish and steam saunas and the cold water barrel. However, I was missing a bar offering drinks and a Japanese hot pool that many spas have. The gym was well equipped but the equipment rather old. The breakfast buffet was lovely with plenty of warm foods on offer. All in all I enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again.
