Hotel Els Pins

Small(ish) hotel right near the sea front, and very close to the shops and bars/restaurants. Room was large and spotlessly clean (as was the rest of the hotel). Excellent buffet breakfast: well worth the money. Small bar with wide range of drinks and snacks. All of the staff were really cheerful and helpful, making our stay a real joy. Would not hesitate to come back, but could do with a full length mirror in the room!

Els Pins is a wonderful family run hotel. An absolute gem of a place. Comfortable beds and nice linen. Breakfast is amazing with hot food and an amazing selection of cold buffet. Every tea you can think of. Fruit and yogurt. Cava for breakfast. Friendly staff who go above and beyond in service. Great prices in bar. Cannot recommend highly enough for the value. We stayed for seven nights and enjoyed every minute. Beach is a stones thought away.

El Pins is a great hotel, the location is perfect just steps away from the beach one way and then shops, bars and restaurants in the other direction. The reception area, bar and breakfast room are lovely, bright and airy. The pool is small but perfect for a dip. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The rooms are basic but clean. Staff are friendly. Platja d’aro itself is a great resort with lots to do!

We have just returned from a beautiful holiday at this gorgeous hotel. We stayed in room 217 a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard. Room was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space for clothes, bathroom was a decent size with a bath, tap shower, bidet etc. The hotel is immaculately clean, the pool is well maintained, breakfast room is very well organised, reception is always manned and everything is so close by! The beach is literally a stones throw away and is absolutely gorgeous. There are numerous bars and restaurants all within walking distance and something to suit everyone from steak, Chinese and tapas restaurants to pizza, KFC and Burger King! There is also a supermarket 5 minutes walk away which stocks pretty much anything you could need including cat food which came in handy as I discovered a little colony of stray cats all living right by. I fed them all daily and really wanted to bring them all home with me (please try and do the same if you see them, they are all so skinny!!). I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the hotel - housekeeping, bar staff, reception staff and breakfast staff for all making our stay a memorable one, you are all so friendly and welcoming and we had a wonderful time! Oh and thank you for all mastering the art of a Bloody Mary, they were ‘the’ best!!!! We will definitely be returning, and I cannot blooming wait! Thank you all so much from Paula and Dave x

Couldn't fault the service and the clean and tidy communal areas. Apartment was decent size and staff kept it clean daily, regular towel change and all in all great. Super breakfast chose and all very good. Great location just a minute from the marina and close to bus stop.

great stay, nice hotel, will return

We stayed at Hotel El Pins for a week in August - My 3 children, my parents and my brother. It was my mums birthday whilst we were there, the staff were just so lovely. They brought my mum a cake for her birthday and sang happy birthday to her that morning at breakfast. My littlest son was well known by all of them and they were so friendly and kind to him. There is a little play area in the patio, he spent hours in. The pool was nice, my daughter spent most of her time in there. We met people from all over the world. It was just a really lovely holiday, made all the better by a wonderful hotel.
