Can t pretend more . Nice staff, all modern and spacy , very good breakfast ( one of the best I have : the choice and the preparation is a top ) , they have a coffee corner with pastries for free !!!! , location top with rooms not on the street . And blocking sun curtains .

Fine small hotel in the center of Porto. The staff is very friendly and gave us many nice tips for our stay in Porto. We surely will come again.!!!!! The rooms were very clean and all needed facilities where there,Walking distance for all places to visit in Porto.

Lovely hotel, staff were super helpful and friendly, especially Martha at front desk, she was amazing. Walking distance to bridges and Gaia and other attractions.

Loved this hotel!. Private balcony overlooking the garden in the older building--stone walls and lots of room. I had stayed at the Casa do Jasmin Boutique Hotel in Lisbon, also a Shiadu hotel; they sent me to this hotel with a note written in Portuguese--I think they asked the management to give me a very nice room! (They are in the process of slip-proofing the showers--if that hasn't been done in your room yet, ask for a mat--the surface is VERY slippery.) I had to leave early in the morning before breakfast, and they sent me off with a boxed meal. Walked everywhere from this hotel, close to the Guindais Funicular. Be sure you walk down Rua das Flores and visit the Palacio da Bolsa and its Arabian Room. Next door is the Wine Institute, the regulatory body for all wine in Portugal, where you visit the beautiful exhibit and sample various types of Port. Take the river ferry over to Gaia and visit the port storage houses and exhibits there. AND DON'T FORGET THE CHOCOLATE MUSEUM!

This property was a beautiful, serene oasis in Porto. Everything about it is beautiful, relaxing and spa-like. The staff was top-notch hotel staff, professional, knowledgeable and they went out of their way to satisfy any requests. I wish I could find comparable properties everywhere I travel. Highly recommend!

Super modern hotel, nice staff , super breakfast ( preparation and the choice is wonderful) , great location , sun blocking curtains , rooms not facing the street , a coffee corner for free ( pastries with coffee, water ) a brilliant idea . A great experience !!

Staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and modern. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Welcoming wine and chocolates were lovely.

Located in the old part of the city, this is a very handy location. There are two buildings, the old at the front and a new extension at the back. Our room was in the old building and we were very happy with it. Everything you need was there and it was a reasonable size. The newer rooms looked really well and all seemed to have a balcony. Breakfast here was exceptional. Great variety of fruit, breads, cheese and ham etc. Also a different range of cooked items every day. Fresh orange juice and a coffee making machine. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is clearly something the hotel prides itself on. There is a trendy vibe which means showers switch off every twenty seconds (I admit I’m a nerd - I counted) and must be Rebooted constantly. Also the check in may seem long if you are tired or short of time. Overall though a great choice to see the old parts of the city.
