We arrived late in the day to 24 hr check in. Free parking in the lot, which had space for our vehicle. Rooms were average and had the amenities most people use. Shower head positioned sideways so hard to change angle for tall people. Bed had wooden bar in between mattresses (and had cookie crumbs from other guests). Small patio with view of volleyball court. Quiet hotel.

We booked a room, the pictures made it look okay. And the price was close to others in the area (120-ish euro). The reviews said it was ready for renovation, but cean. Let me tell you, it was far from clean as possible. The room looked like a crackhouse. The floors were dirty, bathroom had black mould all over. There was no soap or toilet paper. We ran out in three minutes and never looked back. The front desk staff was on the other hand nice and understanding. Didnt charge us anything, so at least we did not have to argue there. Wolud not recommend for anyone. Avoid at all costs.

The staff at Hotel Pula are incredible. They answered any questions we had and took care of anything we needed right away. That was the highlight of the hotel. I read reviews that the hotel was in need of a remodel, but hoped that it had been completed, since the reviews were 2-3 years old. There were no upgrades, no remodel, nothing. I was quite disappointed with the condition of the room. The air conditioning was awful, the drapes did not keep the heat nor the bright sun out of the room, the glass in the windows looked as though it was about to fall out and the mattresses are thin, stained and hard. I generally try to focus on the positives when I visit a hotel, but it was very difficult with this particular hotel. This hotel is very close to a small beach, so that was nice. So close, in fact, that you can walk right down to the beach within 2-3 minutes. There is a small pool in the hotel, but it also seems to be in need of an upgrade. The staff at the dining room, the bars and everywhere else in the hotel really were spectacular and certainly deserve appreciation. However, when I return to Pula, I will find a different location to stay at.

Although the hotel is dated, both the rooms and public areas are well kept. The room was large and functional, the breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner included in the price. The beds were very comfortable. Friendly staff from the first contact and excellent prices. Highly recommended

This is the worst hotel we have ever seen, a complete discrepancy between photos and reality. Everything is so old that it has not been repaired since the time of construction, although it is very difficult to call it a repair, falling off plaster from the walls, rusty balconies, old furniture, mold in the bathroom. Moreover, the bath in the photo is twice as large, in reality only a child or an adult can fit there while sitting. You can say there is no air conditioning in the room, old ventilation and broken buttons and knobs on the wall, and so not only in our room. Many people in the room are unbearably stuffy. Apparently it hums, but does not cool. There is no refrigerator in the room, if you want, take an old and half-dead one for 5 euros per day. Moreover, they try to take money from everything, after leaving and paying, it turned out that they take another fee for every day for a person in euros. Together with the family, they still tore off 80 euros. Breakfast is so meager that it is simply impossible to eat it for a whole week. Those who have been there for two weeks, I sincerely feel sorry for them, eggs and sausages, you won’t find anything special there. Dinner is a completely different story, the day before departure my husband was poisoned. He vomited and vomited. Meat is dry, soups are just broth - water. Wine is sour, coffee is disgusting and bitter. The hotel has one pension, a disco twice a week. The man sings. Cleaning! We've only seen her a couple of times in a week. When it was necessary she was not there, when she was not necessary, she came after dinner, when we were already putting the child to bed. And on the day of departure, we did not understand the joke. Departure at the hotel according to the rules at 10 am, we decided to swim after breakfast and leave. She was already at the door at 8 something in the morning. We say that we are not leaving yet. Then we go to the sea, I tell her again that we will now return to the room, we were gone for 30 minutes at most, we return, and we have already been quickly cleaned. For what? We wash, take our suitcases and leave. What was it for? Pool! The tile in many places has moved away and no one is going to fix it, and it is staggering. In some places, I'm not kidding, the tiles are sealed with tape. The kid almost fell a couple of times. I think that there are those who have already stumbled. There is already black mold in the pool itself. I have never seen it being cleaned, they are open around the clock, I don’t know whether to consider this a plus or a minus. But one evening it was fun to swim. True, I doubt its purity. Good luck guys, everything in Pula 😁 from the pros, and he is the only one and does not depend on the hotel, this is the sea. Near the hotel there is a very beautiful cove. Small but beautiful place with clear and clean water. I also want to mention the restaurant near the hotel, this is Stary Grad. Only there we were saved. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Stacked with food (seafood) and drinks at 30 euros for a couple / family.
