B&B Hotel Ravenna

The hotel is well located with enough parking and good accessibility. Surprisingly for this chain, there was actually friendly staff available for checkin, not only the usual checkin-machines. For tours to the city, you can rent bikes at moderate 5 EUR per day. About half of the bikes look in reasonably good condition. So that was very good. The lobby has many self-service food and drink offerings, so that you can get by without going to stores. Else, just across the highway bridge is a big shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and the bed is according to our preferences. The critical downside: We had two rooms - and both had issues: One the AC was leaking, even with the AC off. The other the bathroom floor was very wet - it seemed the water was leaking from the wall or the toilet. When announced to the reception, they offered to clean up. But no repair was done or room changed. So the problem repeated the next day. During the day, the cleaning staff is super noisy, as if they would be trying to break through the wall with the vacuum-cleaner. And at night, the guests attracted to this hotel seam to bear all decency having lively and lengthy discussions on the hall ways (we are talking about 11p to 1 am, and not just one party being the issue), and continuing in the rooms with slamming doors every few minutes, puking and laughing. So while this hotel could be very nice, it fails the criteria of being a place where you actually can sleep and relax for the next days tour.

Nice and helpful personnel, clean room, a lot of different foods for any taste for breakfast, easy parking around hotel. City center is about 50 min by walking from hotel's location, by car only about 12 min. All in all - very nice experience for the whole week, Ravenna has exceptionally plenty of sights to visit.

Friendly and clean. Good value for money The staff are all lovely! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you to all of you! I would just add that one plug in the whole room is not enough. Other than that, all good.

The room was all the time dirty, lot of dust and bugs everywhere.The staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast is good. The rooms must be renovated, too much old and needs maintenance. The location is perfect and the surrounding very quiet

The staff and breakfast were great but the rooms and furnitures are old and some of rooms have no privacy. The hotel premises must be renovated, the dust is everywhere .The Air conditioner was not working in my room.

Traveling to our cruise port, we found this it be good for an overnight stay. Arriving by bus, it was tricky to locate the hotel. Ended up pulling our luggage thru some sort of green space for about five minutes. We did find the staff to be accommodating and very helpful. The lobby is well stocked with amenities for purchase. There were problems with the electronic door key so we were given an actual key. Large bright rooms are clean and relaxing. The lady at reception that explained the bus stop location deserves a raise for going above and beyond.
