This small hotel on the island of Ortigia , is a gem. It’s on the seafront, and rooms with a sea view are the best so ask. It has several flights of stairs , to reception and the bedrooms and the roof terrace.. Our room was very spacious , with a great bathroom. Comfortable beds, great a/c and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was in the hotel opposite , very basic but enough. I can recommend the omelettes, and the cheeses. What makes this hotel so good though is the staff . They are very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble . We loved our stay on this lovely historic island.

A well maintained property, many rooms with sea views. Delightful breakfast, on-site spa services, and within walking distance of just about everything one would want to see or do in Siracusa. Even a small chapel in the building where Catholic Mass is available daily.

First of all this review is for the Albergo. There are two properties one across from the other. My sister and I found this place while we were looking to change lodging. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Whether you are lucky enough to get a room with a sea view or a room overlooking the street it’s very quiet at night. The inn is in a very good location. But best of all Davide in the reception and other front office staff , Cynthia, were so kind, helpful and really wonderful. The hotel offers a simple but good quality breakfast and overall it is a GREAT value for the price.

This is how it should be done: the hotel and room was spotlessly clean, there was a stunning view from the room, and best of all were the most friendly and helpful staff I’ve met in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

We were there as part of a Rick Steves Tour. Wonderful old building once a school and convent. There are still nuns in residence. Building faces the water and has a roof top area that has great views. Elevator is modern. Refurbishing cause the rooms to vary widely. Laundry is relatively inexpensive

Wonderful location. Small and cozy. The desk clerks were very friendly and spoke good English. The balcony of my room was practically above the water. Lovely surf sound.

The hotel is situated by the waterfront in Ortigia, ie the old (and nice!) part of Siracusa, with most of the main sights within easy walking distance. The ocean view was fantastic! The (English-speaking) owners/staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was nice and clean. Parking was not too much of a problem for me, although the "allowed" spaces (along part of the waterfront) can fill up quickly. I did not have breakfast included, so I cannot comment on that. I stayed there for three nights and would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Siracusa.

The hotel was very nice, and the staff so friendly. The shower not so good but ok. The location splendid.
