The property is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and professional. A few items that turn a 5 star rating into a 3 include: room fridge was warm and coils covered in ice so it was unusable. The bedroom safe battery was dead and it needed to be serviced to work. Otherwise, we liked the hotel, the bar area and the room overall.

The bar closed way too early Friday and Saturday and there was plenty of people there. Very rude turning lights off and on. Should be open more hours and be nicer

This is a very nice high end hotel in the heart of downtown Tampa. The staff people were friendly and helpful. However, there was one deficiency. The room was devoid of amenities that you would expect from a hotel like this.
There was one tiny refrigerator. There was no coffee maker, microwave, no cups (paper of plastic), and no suitcase stands. There were minimal towels. I routinely get these items even at budget hotels.

Me and my husband drive a truck and when we got to the hotel they told us they couldn’t take out truck because it was too wide so we had to go find a public parking and park ourselves and we also had to pay 35 per day for parking in the street. This is something they should disclose because it’s definitely an inconvenience for customers

When I checked into the hotel I was not told that the resort fee was to be used on good and beverages at the hotel. There is no free parking for the hotel, there is a paid parking garage connected to the hotel but was still quite a walk. We had to children use the hot tub, when they got out of the hot tub they said it felt like there were little pins poking them. It hurt so much they couldn’t lay on their back to sleep. They said they were fine until they turned the jets on, my only guess is that is was small pieces of fiberglass. I told the front desk the next morning but he didn’t seem to concerned or sorry. We come to Tampa a couple times a year but we will not be returning to this hotel again.

It is clear that Owner / Management / does not care about this location. The staff seem to be poorly treated, and trained. I realize there is a staff shortage everywhere, but I feel bad for the staff and their lack of support from Management.

The hotel looks nice from the outside and in its lobby. But that is where it end. The room doors need to be replace, the bathroom needs to be updated. The hallway all need to be repainted.
When we checked in, my partner notices yellow stain around the base of the toilet and quickly released it was pee stain. We wiped the whole bathroom down with clorox wipes. And then when took a shower, my partner notice the towel had black spots all over them. We called the front desk to ask to be moved to another room.
The staff is wonderful, they are willing to help and provide us with a small credit for the issues.
Overall, I don't see myself staying here again unless they do some major updates and improve their house keeping.
