We checked in last night to our room, an the front desk agent( Alicia) was simply amazing. We talked like we knew each other, she gave us tips on dinner spots an we had good conversation. She was GREAT.

Honestly, where do I start, hair everywhere that’s not ours, i worked In hospitality for many years and know once in a while a stray gets missed or is left in the tub after drying with dust cloths etc this was not that. All fixtures rusty, from the lights to the hinges. Someone’s fake eyelash set stuck to the make up mirror in the bathroom, the exhaust fan doesn’t work which speaks to the rusty elements and the three layers of peeling wallpaper. The grout is beyond repair caulk lines too. I was Told parking would be waived and it was not. I asked After trying to find 273 if there was renovations because of the caution tape and dummy walls that are falling down in the hallway and the front desk agent said no there was a fire because a guest decided to leave a candle burning. 1- then make it look like a construction zone, not the shining. 2- get your act together or go independent. To ask for a premium rate, place a diamond hilton member in the hopefully worst room on the property when you can’t even compare to the hojo at this point is disgraceful. I want My money back, not all of it, as you provided a service but what you deem fair for what was experienced. Also pretty sure it’s illegal to not have locking doors on a hotel room. Check 273 and guests steer clear of property.

I am a Hilton Honors diamond member in this was the last straw. I will no longer stay in Hilton hotels. This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in and took pictures just to prove it. The shower had permanent stains, the vanity had a broken leg, cracked ceiling, and a broken off closet door. Do better Hilton this is no better than a slimy motel.

Best service in town, shuttle, front office and restaurant crew always with a smile and best of all they accept pets. Our event went very well the team was on top of our needs. Will be back. The hours of operation of the sports bar was very convenient for our group.

This hotel is a dirty, broken down, maze with terrible customer service. The first room we were in was connected to one filled with what sounded like a dozen drunken 20 somethings playing loud music, yelling, cursing, fighting, and repeatedly trying to open the connecting door...we were in town for a convention with an early call time so we knew this wouldn't work and requested a change. The desk manager was nice but reluctant to look for a change as they were booked for the night. She repeatedly said she would be happy to go up there and I repeatedly explained we couldn't depend on that as we had to be up extremely early the next morning. She eventually found another room and we moved. Thankfully I checked to make sure our credit card information had been transferred as well before we checked out and had the joy of being told multiple times I MUST have used a different card when I checked in because mine wasn't the one tied to our room. That could be because I wasn't, lets call her "Sally Smith" which was apparently the name they had assigned to the room we were in. I'm pretty sure Sally would have ended up paying for our stay had I not checked to be sure our credit information had been taken off of our original room. But lets talk about the rest of the stay... I don't mind an older, well kept hotel. This place is a dump. It appears the management has just given up and is fine with the place falling apart. In our room the toilet seat was a different shape than the actual toilet and over hung the edge, the phone was missing several buttons, there were only two accessible standard outlets (no USB of course), the refrigerator they brought in was so banged up it looked like it had been pulled out of a dumpster (and it was pouring water as it was carried in that spilled all over our luggage and when I pointed this out to the person carrying the fridge he giggled and said "yeah"), the shower was rusty, dripped constantly, and somehow, despite the curtain being closed, managed to spray water out OVER the top of the curtain all over the bathroom. Then there is housekeeping, or the lack of housekeeping. At first I assumed this change to the service only being provided if requested was a company-wide Hilton decision. Nope. We stayed in a Hilton property the following weekend and housekeeping was offered daily. Now, given the pandemic I was ok with no housekeeping for our two night stay. However, the TWO sets of towels provided for a room booked with THREE people wouldn't suffice. And given that there were no hooks or towel rods in the bathroom to hang and reuse a towel, two sets wouldn't have even been sufficient even if only two people were booked into the room. But I digress...as soon as I noticed there were only two towels I poked around one of the missing buttons on the phone until I managed to contact housekeeping to request more towels. I was grilled (and I don't use that word lightly) on why I was asking for "so many" towels. After explaining th

My god.. properties like this make me question my loyalty to the Hilton brand. Located minutes away from the Tampa airport, this hotel is so old and so dingy. I arrived at 3:30 to check in for my $150 double bed room. I was checked in with no mention of my diamond status or water offer. I asked and was given two waters and walked very far to my tower room. Room 795 was right next to the elevator and easily 90 degrees. I went back downstairs and asked for a new room. The maintenance worker told me I should have tried to change the temp on the actual ac unit, not on the wall unit that was not functional because apparently they disconnected it. I asked again for a new room since I needed to take a few conference calls and did not want to sit in a 90 degree room. They gave me room 895, directly one floor above and also 90 degrees. Luckily for me the thermostat worked this time and ac came on quickly. Room was old, outdated, dirty and LOUD. It was seriously right on the highway (275) which is very busy and full of trucks. You could hear everyone in the hallway as they walked by. Bed was comfy and clean. Positive that it is located right next to one of the best steakhouses in the area. Diamond members can park right out front , which is nice considering the rest of the parking is a long walk or in a big dark garage. Please update this hotel! A full revamp is needed!

The hotel is located quite close to the airport. And that is the only positive about the hotel. Front desk was mostly a miss - staff insisted that I would have to pay for parking even though my rate included parking. Eventually I had to turn on my computer to show them the corporate rate T&C. Breakfast at restaurant was terrible - limited menu, bad food, no service. I would get my own coffee on all the days that I ate there. On the last day when I told the server at the bar that I was ready to order, her response was "Great. But I am busy right now". No apologies so I left and grabbed breakfast on my way to work. When I complained to the front desk, the woman told me "We cant do anything about it as the restaurant is not a part of the hotel". Another example of poor service. Why offer breakfast "credit" at the restaurant if its not a part of the hotel? My room was on the 10th floor and it was clean. However, a coworker was given a room on the first floor and encountered several cockroaches in his room. During the mornings, the hotel does run out of hot water so time your showers accordingly. Plenty of options in the area. Do not recommend staying here.

Bartenders are very slow and not knowledgeable about the teams that were playing on TV. As a hotel sports bar they should know what and what teams are playing. We had to ask and felt as though they were being bothered by our requests.

We have stayed at this Doubletree many times and have always had an enjoyable experience. This time was different. We picked our room on the app and arrived at a little after 840PM. Our room was not ready. Really? Not ready at 840PM? That should have been my first warning sign they were understaffed. We switched rooms to queen beds instead of the king we wanted. I also learned while checking in that there is now a $25.00 per night parking fee. The people checking in next to me were told they do not have to pay the parking fee because it was included. I guess you have to be careful while booking. We were assigned room 234, with a balcony overlooking the beautiful pool area. The bathtub/shower was rusty, the tiles were scummy and the hook on the back of the bathroom door is missing. Bathroom is very small and the missing hook left no place to hand a toiletries bag, bathroom or wet towel. There are holes in the bedroom curtains and they also were filthy. There is no daily housekeeping, so the halls are lined with trash and dirty towels, leftover food, etc. Not a pleasant site, snd sometimes, an unpleasant odor. We had a snack on arrival in the restaurant. Food was good, servers were pleasant and efficient, even though they were understaffed. On day 3 we requested housekeeping, and were told it would be taken care if. We needed tissues, toilet paper, trash emptied, etc. they never came. The front desk never answers the phone. So any requests or questions require a trip to the front desk and a wait in line. The lobby is welcoming and offers a variety of seats to talk or eat take out. The restaurant used for breakfast was closed, with a sign saying it was a private party. The hallway leading to the restaurant was dark, leading us to believe there was no private party. We never saw anyone in there. It was just closed with management thinking they needed to offer an excuse. Just a warning to those with food allergies—-my favorite about Doubletree is the warm chocolate chip cookies. I have eaten many over the years and never had a problem. This time however, after nibbling slowly in half a cookie, I felt a tickle in my throat, which I thought meant I needed water. Then my nose became stuffy and my throat started to swell and my asthma kicked in. It was not as scary as it reads, because I knew what to do. I took my rescue inhaler and allergy medication. Everything settled down and I was fine. I read the ingredients on the package and they use barley flour, which I am allergic to. I don’t know if it is a new ingredient, or I have grown more sensitive to it. Just be careful. My bad. The staff is friendly and the things I mentioned are beyond there control. This property does not come close to what us expected from a Hilton brand. If you are staying overnight for a cruise, you may like this. Or if you are with a group that wants to meet in the lobby for chats. There is also a $15.00 dining credit, which we were not made aware of at check in. The pro
