I must say that I was extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived and inquired about an early check-in, the lack of courtesy and attention towards me as a guest was evident.
When I approached the front desk and politely asked if it was possible to check in earlier than the standard time, I was met with indifference. The staff member seemed uninterested in my request and did not make any effort to accommodate my needs or offer alternative solutions. It was disheartening to feel disregarded and unimportant as a guest.
Additionally, during the check-in process, I inquired about the possibility of an upgrade. The staff informed me that all the rooms were fully booked and no upgrades were available. However, to my surprise, upon finally checking in, I discovered that there were indeed upgraded rooms available.
Also the staff did not smile. A smile goes a long way in creating a pleasant and welcoming environment for guests. It is a simple gesture that can instantly make someone feel valued and appreciated. Unfortunately, the staff at the hotel seemed to overlook this fundamental aspect of customer service. This applied not to all, but particularly to those who were on duty when I first arrived.
