We really can't say enough good things about Ely House -- we had such a wonderful stay! Gloria and Sam both went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible -- nothing was too much trouble and they were super friendly and attentive -- we really felt welcome! Breakfast was first rate and Sam's service was flawless. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this lovely hotel located just minutes from the centre of town to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Wolverhampton area.

The whole experience was very commendable. The receptionist claudia, was so helpful and very pleasant. She went above and beyond.
Breakfast was waitress service, so no walking about with your food. Again the waitress was helpful and pleasant.
The 3 stars seem inadequate. Furnishings are great. Impressive. I would recommend Ely House Hotel. It was close to a great restaurant and a charger for the electric car.

This property was the best we'd stayed at during the last 10 years of visiting Wolverhampton. Clean, comfy,and nothing too much trouble.

Lovely hotel in a grade 2 listed building. Good car park. Room was adequate size, very clean and nicely decorated. Tea/coffee available in the room. Bathroom was also very clean, bath and shower. Shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. Good choice at breakfast with food cooked to order in a well laid out dining room. Small bar, only bottled beer/lager reasonable prices.
Finding the room was a little difficult because the fire doors off the landing didnt have numbers on them although the rooms themselves behind the fire doors did. No lift but there are 10 rooms on the ground floor. Would also have preferred mugs not small cups in the room
Overall excellent value for money.
Special mention to Claudia who goes over and beyond for every customer!

Visited Wolverhampton for the darts for the 2nd year. Claudia remembered us from last year and was just as welcoming again. Excellent stay, absolutely no complaints. See you again next year!

Always a pleasure to stay at Ely House, fantastic welcome from the lovely Claudia you just wouldn't get at a huge chain hotel. Very clean and tidy, off road parking and easy walk back into Wolverhampton.
