We found the staff at this hotel to be extremely helpful, friendly, polite and accommodating with all the requests that we made. The weather was cool in the evenings so we slept with our fully screened balcony door open, but because we were close to the kitchen extractor fan, the noise and the cooking smells disturbed us in the night. We asked to be moved and were immediately given a lovely, clean and comfortable new room with a little kitchenette and an extra bed as requested. Kettles and cups were available in all the rooms. Extra pillows turned up without being asked for, and the linen and towels were changed regularly. Everything was very clean and tidy throughout the hotel. We had breakfast there each day. This was adequate, presented well and catered for several nationalities, but there weren’t many changes throughout the week, it was however, enough to keep us going. We loved the location of the hotel because it was very rural, and there were a lot of nice countryside and woodland walks nearby. We also walked to Garakas beach where the turtles come to nest, as well as to several other bays in the area. One of the highlights of our week were the abundance of wild flowers, blooming all around the olive trees. It was a wonderful natural paradise for bees and butterflies and wild birds. There were a few good tavernas and other places to eat nearby, so we did not eat in the hotel as the food and drink prices were a bit more expensive. We loved the sound of the owl in the night that had made its home near the hotel, and also the crowing of the cockerels in the morning from all the little local farms. We only swam in the pool once, but the area was clean, the sunbeds plentiful and comfortable. The pool was also very clean and well maintained and there were plenty of umbrellas to go around. Pool towels could be hired for €5 each. This was returnable when you took your pole back. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Belvidere hotel and would recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, quiet, countryside holiday.

Had our honeymoon here. ❤️ The hotel very nice but needs a bit of TLC. Very clean and maid service everyday so came back to a spotless room. Pool area lovely with a nice food/drinks bar. Breakfast has everything you need and well cooked. Hotel staff 💯 , friendly and genuine. Only negative, Villas Rossa wine bar connected to the hotel , never saw one person drinking or eating in there ? Very odd ! The location is perfect! Best beaches , best tavernas. Never had a holiday where I’d give 10/10 for every meal. The locals were amazingly friendly and genuine. Can’t wait to go back.

This hotel was booked for our honeymoon and we loved it, the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, very reasonably priced stay as well as amenities, we booked a massage at the aurora spa and it was incredible, katerina was very helpful after and gave us advice after about water intake and exercises to do to help circulation, would definitely go back to this resort again. Highly recommend

LOTS of positives. Stunning location. We had a room on the 2nd floor with a beautiful clear view of Jason’s Bite and the clear blue Sea. Plenty of Parking. A bit strange there was nobody to help with our luggage but there was a lift so not too bad. The lift only goes to the 2nd floor so it would have difficult had we been on floor 3 or 4. Good sized, comfortable room with a very comfortable, firm double bed. Lots of storage space. Kettle and fridge in the room. The room was very clean. The air con was strong and pretty quiet. Lovely large balcony. A few minor maintenance issues such as: cracks in floor tiles (in the room and the hotel itself) The shower covered the floor in water so we had to throw towels down. The toilet seat was wobbly. The door to the balcony was very stiff. None of these minor things would stop us staying again. The reception staff were all very helpful. I borrowed a few books to read from the lobby area which was a nice touch. There are sofas in the lobby where the WiFi is stronger and a TV with Netflix should you fancy it. Villa Rossa bar is a lovely little spot to sit on an evening and have a drink. It’s very overpriced though compared to the surrounding area. You can literally cross the road to Perfetto or walk 5 minutes to Mais and pay half the price. The woman serving was always cheery and kind. The grumpy older man working alongside her was unfortunately EXTREMELY rude. I have 3 main negatives. There isn’t a door sign for Do Not Disturb/Please Clean my Room which I have never experienced anywhere. It was very stressful as the over zealous maids bang on your door and if you aren’t fast enough let themselves in! Once I was on the toilet and once I was asleep. If you answered and told them please come back later they didn’t always come back later so we slept in sandy sheets a couple of times. Even when you’d said no thank you and they knew you were sleeping or relaxing in your room they were VERY loud and inconsiderate first thing in the morning. Shouting to each other across the balconies. There are signs which state the pool is open until 8pm and not to use it after for your safety as this is when chlorine is added. I went down to do lengths at 7pm after the pool bar had closed and nobody was around. As we were drying off at 7.30pm we witnessed a man throw white powder in the pool which I assume was the chlorine. No sign went up and he gave no warning so if we’d gone down later we would have got in the pool none the wiser as it clearly states 8pm. Not great for health and safety. Breakfast isn’t great. I only got up for it 3 times out of 11. My husband went without fail but he will literally eat anything for the sake of it. I personally like to eat scrambled eggs with toast followed by fruit and yoghurt. The Greek yoghurt had a strange jelly like consistency. The only fruit was tinned pineapple rings and a bowl of chopped fruit salad in juice which was mostly apple. The scrambled egg was over cooked and dry an

We have just spent 10 days at The Belvedere Suites. The hotel is very nice, very welcoming staff. The receptionist who welcomed us Anastasia was particularly lovely, as was the lovely lady in the restaurant. Our room was lovely with beautiful views of Gerakas Beach. Breakfast was plentiful and adequate. Dinner however I felt lacked any ambience. We felt Iike we were walking into a care home. The food was fine, and we ate well, but you go on holiday for the Greek experience and this was sadly lacking. I don't know if it was because it was the end of the season, but the pool could have done with a good scrub. And the cushions in the beds round the pool for want of a better word are quite disgusting. I don't think they have been cleaned all season, and are covered in mould. Gerakas Beach is about a 15 min walk away and is truly beautiful. However beware of the charges for the sunbeds it's €30+. Joanna's supermarket is about a 10 min walk from the hotel, her shop is like an Aladdins cave. Here you can get anything you need, car hire etc. And book a boat trip for the wonderful Mario's cruises. There are several Tavernas close by, villa rossa part of the hotel for drinks. Mia's taverna does a Greek night on a Thursday, you are best to reserve a table for that. And the taverna across the road was really good and worth the wait. All in all if you want a relaxing holiday, in a beautiful location, go b&b, this is a wonderful resort.

Amazing hotel! Gorgeous quiet location. Lovely views. Super comfy bed! Lovely pool! Fantastic food! My first time staying half board so I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a fantastic spread. (and speaking as a vegetarian -lots of choice!!) Breakfast- cooked selection, pastries, bread, cheese, cereal, greek yoghurt, honey, jelly (random but my little sisters loved it!) orange juice, apple juice, tropical juice! Dinner- pasta with a choice of sauces, rice, DIY greek salad bar, dolmades, soup, sometimes pizza, and always multiple puddings and ice cream! I was concerned the drinks would be crazy priced but I was pleasantly surprised and found it to be reasonable

We stayed for one week and I would like to say that we had an amazing time. The hotel is located in a quiet area but there’s lots of lovely restaurants all within 15 minutes walk. Also the hotel is near to many amazing beaches with crystal clear water. The staff are super friendly and I would like to say special thanks to Anastasia (the lovely morning receptionist) she’s been very helpful, kind, always polite and welcoming. Also, the breakfast in the morning was great, we never had to wait for a table and there was a lot of food options. Thank you for the amazing stay and see you next year.

Beautiful hotel, helpful friendly staff. The area is quiet but there's plenty of excellent restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Gyrakas beach is incredible and the turtle centre (with free entry) on your way down is worth checking out.
