Alegria Villas Complex

We very much enjoyed our stay in Villa Alegria. The place was clean with cleaning every other day + new towels. There are great restaurants nearby to choose from with delicious food and a smaller supermarket as well. Highly recommended for families with kids since there is a backyard with plenty space and a tree house and nets to swing in. The owners were kind and willing to go about and beyond. Definitely would visit again!

What a lovely experience we had at Lia’s Villas. Spacious, clean, green, quiet and most of all, the bon gout of the place just blew me away. All of her recommendations were spot on (sunset taverna, places to eat, gardens with traditional music and secluded beaches) and her kindness and smiles made our stay delightful. Highly recommended and I can’t wait to return to Alegria!

It's hard to know where to start. This accommodation is huge! Spacious bedrooms and living areas. Beautiful ornaments and personal touches. Spotlessly clean, with lots of fresh additional linen and clean towels. Everything is thought of. And the pretty, rural setting is a delight. There is simply not 1 single thing we would have changed. Walking distance to pretty beaches, with amazing gems on the whole island to explore. We hired a car as there are so many beautiful places in Zakynthos to visit. Our host, Lia, was kind and gracious. Offered her time to suggest places and restaurants to visit. We simply did not want to come home from this most wonderful holiday home. The best we have ever stayed in ❤

Spacious and brilliantly equipped apartment with balconies both sides; nice pool. Peaceful location on this quiet part of the island: walking distance to Vrahos, Banana and St Nicolas beaches (Vrahos was the nicest but the others have watersports); also walking distance to friendly low-key tavernas and a good breakfast cafe (in fact we didn't end up using our cooking facilities). Our extremely helpful host, Lia, arranged bicycles to be delivered to us for our three-night stay, so we were able to explore easily: one day we cycled to Zakynthos Town - very worthwhile, good shopping and lovely views from the old castle above town; the next day we took the hilly road to Dafni beach, which is picturesque and quiet - well worth the effort. I'd return here in an instant!

Amazing property in marvelous place with hospitable owners. Stylishly decorated villas have their own souls. Water in the pool warm and clean. A lot of beautiful beaches and tavernas are just 3 minutes by the walk. Best place for getting relax and reducing stress. We will come back for sure😍

Our group of 16 people spent a fantastic week in Alegria Villas. Our host Lia had solution for everything we asked (transfer, boat trip, restaurants etc). The rooms and all the facilities (swimming pool, bar etc) were just as well maintained as on the photos. An amazing beach is just a few minutes walk from the place. Everything was just perfect.

Had a fantastic week at Alegria Villas this week. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Lia the proprietor was an excellent host and could not do enough for us. We stayed in one of the villas with a private pool which was really lovely. The pool is well maintained as are the gardens. It’s perfect for family and friends for a quiet week away. It’s quiet and has fantastic views out the back over to the Ionian Sea. A short walk to two local tavernas and shop with a slightly further walk to St Nicholas beach. Hiring a car/quad bike, whichever suits you, is easy and can be arranged via Lia. If you need transfers from the airport then these can also be are arranged by contacting Lia. All in all a perfect week away , loads of time to relax away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Thank you Lia for a wonderful week and I will definitely be back.

Hello, I advice you to not reserve here. They are dishonest. I’ve made a reservation two years ago and because of the pandemic I couldn’t come and of course I have made a deposit of more that 200 euros.. they told me that I could use it as voucher for next reservation. This year I wanted to go in Zante in this hotel, and I send message to the owner asking about my voucher and he always answer without mentioning the deposit. It seems that he does that on purpose. My question was very clear and I wanted to know if I could use my voucher. Despite the fact that the delay of response to the email are long, he didn’t answer to my question, it seems so dishonest ! I’m very very disappointed by this hotel and I will let know this everywhere because this behavior is not normal ! Don’t go there.

After our holiday being posponed for two years we eventually arrived at Alegria Villas on 15th August for 10 days and stayed in a duplex apartment. The two years wait was definately wotrh it as it is a wonderful place and the staff could not do any more to help at every opportunity. The accomodation is set in a lovely rustic setting with a perfect swimming pool and seating areas with hammocks dotted around and the area is surrounded by olive and banana trees. The rooms are very spacious and well decorated with all the appliances you may need for your stay, ive never stopped in such a spacious accomodation before. There are a few beaches nearby and one is an idilic beach just 5 mins walk in a shelered cove with shallow water on a lovely sandy beach and in the village there are four or five nice restuarants and probably another six or seven within 20 mins walk, several of which are the best i have been to. The complex has a snack bar which serves alcohol and the young girl who works there is very cheerful and helpful, Lia the owner is a lovely cheerful lady who can recommend places to go and excursions and even has their minibus drop us off and pick us up at a particuler resturant we had booked which was 30 mins walk away, she was so helpful and even gave us a present to bring home on our last day. In summary this was a great holiday made better by the amazing hotel complex and location and the happy staff who work there and we will be booking again to come back.
