Phoenix Zoo in the United States, also known as Phoenix Zoo. It is the largest non-profit zoo in the United States. It was founded by Robert Mattel in 1962. The zoo covers an area of 0.51 square kilometers and more than 1,300 species of animals live in it. The entire zoo is divided into four main areas: Arizona, Africa, Tropical and Children's. Another special part is the Stingray Bay area, which has a tank showing stingrays. Visitors can take a car to see the animals in the park, or walk to get close to the animals through a 4-kilometer hiking trail.
