Amazing! Well worth a visit, a well organised tour and so interesting.
This salt mine is very interesting. You get an educational tour based on your language and you go deep underground between 60 to 130 meters. You learn about the history and you see some interesting sculptures and an underground church. The only thing that was bad was the price which was close to 60 euros.

Seen a lot and learnt a lot about the history from the tour guide. It is really an experience seeing these remains in real life. Must go to really feel it for yourself if you’re in poland.
A sad and awakening experience thinking of what human beings are capable of doing. Felt a cold feeling when entered the cremation chambers. There’s a wall where people were executed, now flowers are layed down in their memory. A part of history, I recommend visiting Terezin as well situated in Czech Republic.

fell in love with this town beautiful. great atmosphere, lots of green around the City
The central square in the old town of Krakow, Little Poland, is one of the largest medieval town squares in Europe. The central square is surrounded by historic buildings. The center of the square is dominated by the fabric hall, and the side of the fabric hall is the city hall tower. On the other side is the 10th century St. Adams Church, and on the north side of the square is the Gothic tower of St. Mary's Cathedral.

The Wawel Royal Castle (Zamek Królewski na Wawelu) is a castle residency. It's located in centre of Kraków, Poland. The castle, is one of the largest in Poland and represents nearly all architectural styles of medieval, renaissance and baroque periods. What is interesting, Wawel is the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in the world. 5/5

A humbling visit to this landmark. A reminder that during bad times, there are decent people
I 🖤 KRAKÓW Oskar Schindler was a German enterpreneur and a member of the Nazi party, NSDAP. He is credited with saving approximately 1100 Jews by employing them in his factories (so that they could avoid horrible living conditions and eventually death in the Nazi labor camps) – one of them located in Krakow, in the area of today’s Zabłocie district. Originally various enamelware objects were produced in the Schindler's factory; later on Schindler decided to also produce mess kits and ammunition shells for the Germans as he wanted to make sure that the factory would be regarded as an essential part of the war effort. Encouraged by his Jewish accountant to use Jews for labor, Schindler wound up sheltering an increasing number of Jewish workers as the Nazis forced them out of their jobs and into ghettos and, ultimately, forced labor camps. His story became well-known to the public thanks to the popular Steven Spielberg's movie, Schindler's list (1993), where Schindler was portrayed by Liam Neeson. I was in particularly intrigued by the display of Schindler's factory office, including his hulking wooden desk and creaking wood floors. This room also includes a display called "Survivors' Ark," a mountain of thousands of pieces of enameled pots of the type once manufactured in the factory, enclosed in a towering glass case. That Schindler was transformed from calculating businessman to humanitarian is amazing, and his acts of heroism in a time of brutality should not be diminished. Still, I did not find a visit to this museum an uplifting experience. There simply is too much sadness encased here, and in juxtaposition to the millions of Jews and others who were dehumanized and exterminated by the Nazis, the 1100 lives saved by Schindler seem mere grains of sand on a vast beach.

At the Market Square in Krakow, Poland, you can hear the sound of horns blowing on the top of the tower of the Church of the Virgin Mary every hour on the hour. The Church of the Virgin Mary has two towers, one high and one low. The church has been restored countless times since the Middle Ages, and there are many beautiful sculptures inside, which are magnificent. From the murals on the wall, to the dome, to the altar, the pulpit, and the choir seats, every place seems to be emitting dazzling colors. The Old Town of Krakow was listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1978. St. Mary's Cathedral is a typical Gothic building and a model of Polish Gothic architecture. The entire church is built entirely with handmade red bricks, and it took a century to build the interior decoration, towers and the top of the church.
Maria Church is a brick Gothic church located next to the Main Market Square in Kraków, Poland. Its construction began in the 14th century, with its history dating back to the early 13th century, and it is one of the best examples of Gothic architecture in Poland. The church is 80 meters high and is famous for its wooden altar carved by Veit Stoss. In 1978, it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Historic Centre of Kraków.

Many ancient cities in Europe have preserved their historical features intact and are world-famous. In Poland, there is an ancient city with a history of thousands of years. Although it is not a popular tourist destination, it is also very beautiful and worth visiting. Many people are not familiar with Poland, but they know its western neighbor Germany. As the two countries are neighbors, there have been constant grievances in history. This ancient city is the coastal city of Gdansk in northern Poland, which is called "Danzig" in German. This is the largest city in northern Poland and the most important seaport city. In particular, the city center retains a large number of ancient Renaissance-style buildings, and there are many Gothic and Baroque churches.
Gdansk is a tourist city with more tourists than Warsaw. The Long Street Market, also known as the Long Street Square, is the main attraction. The old town is full of ancient buildings along the river. Churches, bell towers, museums, markets and bars and restaurants can be seen everywhere. The Amber Museum, which was converted from an old prison, is a landmark building in Gdansk, showing the distribution, formation, processing of amber resources, and a large number of precious amber collections.

This was once a major center along the international trade routes, and 700 years ago it was open air, selling spices, silk, leather goods, etc. 600 years later (around 1300 AD), a roof was added, and the main trade was textiles, and from then on it was called the Cloth Hall. Today, the ground floor is full of shops/stalls selling all kinds of Polish souvenirs, jewelry, glassware, and the top floor is the Krakow National Gallery. Outside the hall there are many cafes, shops and vendors selling more souvenirs, handmade items and food. There are also many horse-drawn carriages waiting to take you around the old town.
Since the Middle Ages, Krakow's commerce has been quite developed. At that time, merchants from all over the world gathered in the Central Market Square and the Textile Hall to trade goods and barter. Merchants from far away brought copper, iron, wine, and olives in exchange for local lead, salt, and textiles. This place can be said to be a trade and transportation hub between the East and the West in the Middle Ages.
