Close to the beach and golf course, I was able to spend very relaxing. Especially, it was good to be able to go directly to the beach from the hotel.

2 bedroom apartment. Generous space with a living room, a separate sitting area with a sofa that is convertible to a bed, a dining area to sit 6 and a well equipped kitchen with oven/ microwave, kettle and toaster, good sized refrigerator. Washer dryer combo that works well. 1 en-suite queen bedroom with walk in closet and shower The other queen sized bedroom with toilet and bath room just outside. Clean and comfortable with supplied tea/ coffee and cleaning/ laundry soaps. The location is a bit further away from the city centre. Having a car is certainly a boon for access. There is a stellarosa cafe ust a few steps away from the apartment block. Overall a nice place to stay

It was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site. Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in. Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in. Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think. I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist. Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!) I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house) So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one. Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit. We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have. If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.

I booked on amazing reviews! I filtered that I required 2 beds and parking then charged 45 a night for parking on top of accommodation. Couldnt get in frknt doors of apartments in the middle of the day had to walk around block to another entrance and only got in by someone leaving, bell was not ringing thriugh to reception desk. Then we arrive unpack everything 2 hrs later discover no power in bathroom or bedrooms, we advised and given another unit to more to, pack everything up and move.. Then on the morning we go to leave no hot water for showers! When we told reception, oh yes sorry there is an issue! I have to say reception stay lovely and not there fault but this needs attention, its the little things that make or break a persons stay and I would not recommend this place to anyone, good competition around for better pricing! Reservation staff not so much!

We stayed at H residencies (room 24106) for 4 days in June. The location is amazing - close to beach, restaurants, clubs and shops. Very happening place. Beautiful view from the balcony too. Access to 3 swimming pools, spa and sauna. However, following reasons, we were not very happy with. - in both the bathrooms, the shower door won’t close properly, water spills outside, making the whole bathroom wet. Safety hazard as it’s very slippery and you have to be very careful. Moping and drying after each shower. - the carpet and the rug need a good washing and cleaning. They were dusty and dirty. - there was no conditioner or body lotion provided. It is very usual to have these amenities. I never carry them to any holiday stay overs. - the AC won’t go more than 24C, which is generally okay but my parents felt cold it would have been good to have extra blankets or portable fan heater or fan for summer for people with different needs. - it is next to impossible to talk to anyone. I could only contact them through TRIP.COM app or email. No one picks up the call or replied to normal message. - there were many patches on the walls and not well presented. Furniture also looked old and dirty.

GGuest UserSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.

AAnonymous UserThe apartment was very spacious, with an open kitchen and a living room. The staff upgraded us to the top floor, where we had a lovely lake view. The location is excellent – it's only a 10-minute walk to Surfers Paradise and the Skypoint Observation Deck. There's also a fantastic Thai restaurant nearby and a large supermarket, which is great for shopping.

MMelzza23Unfortunately we did not have a great stay. We booked 3 apartments for a family vacation and all 3 had issues. All 3 apartments had faulty air cons. 1 air con didn’t work at all and also a toilet in that apartment didn’t work either. Also when we arrived, we found one of our carparks had a car parked in it and that 2 other guests were allocated the same Carpark as us. We all contacted the letting company and all guests were told to seek help from the apartment reception who then told us all to contact the letting company as they don’t deal with the private apartments and their carparks. So it was back and forth for hours, we even visited the office twice until the car was finally removed. In terms of the no aircon/ broken toilet room, we were told there was nothing the letting company could do about it as they only have 1 staff member on so we’d have to wait for the next day and that some of our cost would be refunded (We are still waiting). The next day, in the morning the staff member visited and said the aircon is broken and they’ll have to find another room so will get back to us. It was close to the letting company’s closing time and we hadn’t heard back so we followed up only to be told there’s no more rooms available and our family would have to make do with the fans. Our family members in the no aircon room got sick from the heat/ stuffiness even with the doors and windows open. The amenities - lagoon, gym and pool are awesome So it was really unfortunate we did not enjoy our stay due to the lack of upkeep of the apartments and the service.

GGuest UserMixed Experience – Great Location, Poor Internet & Breakfast Setup The hotel is in a great location, and the room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Facilities like the car park and lifts were well maintained and met expectations. However, as business travellers, the internet connection was a major letdown. The hotel appears to rely on a hotspot system, which was extremely unreliable—slow speeds and constant disconnections all weekend. Streaming services such as Netflix were unusable, and even basic browsing was frustrating. To make matters worse, the remote control had nearly dead batteries and worked intermittently. We were also disappointed with the rest and breakfast experience. After early starts each day, we were hoping for some quiet downtime in the afternoon, but this was hard to enjoy given the other issues. The weekend breakfast arrangement felt misleading. Instead of onsite breakfast, we received a $20 per person voucher to a nearby café. While the café was pleasant, it only opened at 7:30 am on weekends—not ideal when you're starting work at 6:30–7:00 am. And realistically, $20 doesn’t go far at most cafés these days, so it felt like a cost-cutting workaround rather than a genuine breakfast offering. On a positive note, Clara at reception on Saturday was professional and kind—she did her best to assist, though unfortunately there wasn’t much she could do. It seemed like her manager may have been present but avoided getting involved, which was disappointing given the situation.

GGuest UserAn absolutely excellent place stay, would recommend, even just based on the staff and the breakfast. I observed that great care was taken of people checking in to stay who would be going to the hospitals local to the area. Check-in was so easy, and the reception staff was very kind. Things I loved: * the included healthy breakfast, * free on-site parking *Ferrari in the reception area (no idea why it's there, and I'm no car enthusiast, but it is a classy touch) * very friendly and kind staff * neat and good layout of room * comfortable bed * good air conditioning * friendly people throughout the building * walking distance to Chermside shopping centre * excellent price Thing I didn't like as much: * not really sound-proofed, you sometimes hear sounds from other rooms and hallways * the balcony area did have a bit of a smell in the early evening, dissuading me from eating outside until later on - this might have just been the day I stayed. It was nice enough later to leave the door open and have a bit of a breeze while sleeping. Highly recommended.
