We were really fortunate to have gotten a great deal for 2 nights on Trip.com.
On arrival there was more than what was expected once we settled in. The App forgot to mention Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Dryer so prior we were still happy for the price we paid for the accom alone but were smitten and ecstatic to see these included. The Apartment I believe had everything you could possibly need and had been serviced to top notch cleanliness we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights on stay. We would hope in the future we could book this amazing accom if we’re in similar situation
What a great spot, amazing views, so close to everything.
Bed was very comfortable, amenities were perfect. so clean and tidy and a nice basket of goodies to enjoy.
Our only negative was being right by front door when other guests came in at 3am, noisily chattering outside in the hall way and doors banging closed. (for other guests reading this please be mindful of this when you are coming in at night)
Other than that we had a lovely stay. Highly recommend.

The price is a bit cheaper than the downtown hotel, but the price/performance ratio is too high with the happiness index.

王王All aspects of the hotel are acceptable, but please pay attention to the issue of refund
A deposit of 150 yuan is required at check-in. When you swipe your credit card, you are asked whether you want to spend or pre-authorize.
Check out to confirm that there is no loss deduction, and no refund will be seen after five days, call to ask, saying that the operation failed when refunding, and ask me if I have another card
I didn’t argue too much and provided another card number, but obviously, my card is always easy to use, and why not contact the customer if the refund fails? They have phone and email
Guests staying please keep the check-in date and room number, so as to avoid similar situations, you can make it clear
JJon-MLHKThe experience was mostly good... staff were quite helpful except for 1 thing.... (see below); place was well located, clean.. ambient temperature was good even though there was only 1 a/c unit.. maybe be different in high summer..
encountered 2 issues:-
1) The door to balance is left opened.... hotel would not provide a key to lock it... as no key is given out... the lock may be incorporated in the door handle when lifted.. appeared this particular door may not be installed properly..
2) Very strange - The receptionist refused to reserved a parking space for me for some reason... (under 3 separately occassion, day after check-in, day before needing to use and the actual morning of the day of use).. and when i drove the rental car to the hotel.. it was full as apparently; i did not book....
GGuest UserWas a good stay. Fair for the price.
Best part was the easy late check in and key lock box ect.
Amenities were slightly underwhelming as it had plates bowls cutlery ect but no place to wash them, also could do with a decent size bin considering you need to eat take out.
Other than that it was a clean tidy room with plenty of space and place to put luggage. New towels everyday ect which is a nice to have.
Would stay again
GGuest UserThe hotel was god, but, pre-authorization payment have not been refunded. It seems took 35 working days, crazy. Otherwise, it was good and just next to the University of Auckland.
EEliossI had a nice stay. The room is cosy, with great view from 14th floor, equipped with fridge, boiler, microwave and breakfast tools. It's a bit small and has little space to put or hang stuff. Location is very convenient in the heart of CBD, didn't hear any noise at night.
WWebPenny01Absolutely love this location! The staff are fantastic and the pool/spa is always amazing!!. Located within 5minutes walking distance to sky city casino, this hotel has it all. I only ever stay here when in Auckland city.. Recommend to any type of traveller, solo, couples retreat, family getaway or a quick business trip with central city access. The Grand Hotel on Hobson is by far my 1s5 choice.
MMeiyingCustomer service at the reception was excellent all throughout our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a 2 room apartment, which was clean, spacious and nice. But the fridge wasn't working, and we had food to keep, so the front desk officer got us into another unit very quickly, which was also nice. But this second unit also had some minor issues. One of the bathroom cabinets was warped and the door was popping out because of water damage, and the bathroom floor kept getting flooded even though the bath door was closed and the shower was not turned on for long. There seemed to be a leaking/flooding problem somewhere. And my wife also complained the oven was not working. But overall the place was nice and comfortable, and the location is within walking distance to most Auckland city centre attractions, shopping and eateries. Perhaps management could consider repairing and upgrading certain items in the apartments.
GGuest UserOur family absolutely loved this apartment hotel. Both bedrooms and the living room have balconies, which is great for stepping out and enjoying the fresh air. The apartment gets plenty of sunlight during the day, which was super convenient for drying laundry quickly. The air conditioning in the living room worked perfectly, and having two bathrooms was very practical. The kitchen also allowed us to cook our own meals. The location is excellent, near the Sky Tower, with supermarkets, souvenir shops, and various restaurants all within easy reach.
VVasantha MoorthyNavya (hope I got her name spelt right) at the reception was super efficient & very accommodating . She responded to my email long before I arrived promptly with a solution.
Many thanks.
The sofas were sinking in a little & a suggestion to vacuum the sofas too.
Other than that we had a good & pleasant stay.

GGuest UserI was really lucky to be allocated to room 8A which is facing to fort st. The noise from the KTV was loud esp on the last weekend of school holiday - luckily I'm still managed to sleep. What worried me most from others reviews was, the place is an emergency accommodation and their experience was really scary. I'm so lucky nothing happened during my stay. What I learnt after reading the reviews of this hotel is - check if was listed as crisis accommodation before you book
