"It’s good to have free parking spaces, but it doesn’t feel very clean and it’s not hygienic. CChak Heng AndrewThis hotel stay was an absolute delight, offering the perfect blend of convenience, stunning views, and high-quality amenities. The location right by the waterfront was simply breathtaking, and the proximity to the whale watching center was an added bonus.
While the unit was on the second floor, which required carrying our luggage upstairs, the view from the elevated position was well worth it. There was also the option of requesting a ground floor unit if stairs are a concern.
The check-in and check-out process was a breeze, with clear instructions provided and a designated key return box for added convenience. Having an assigned parking space just outside the unit was also a thoughtful touch.
But the true highlight of this hotel stay was the shower. The water pressure and temperature control were absolutely perfect, making for a luxurious and refreshing experience. And being able to watch the sunrise from the unit was the icing on the cake.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a tranquil, waterfront retreat with top-notch amenities and stunning views. The combination of the convenient location, well-appointed unit, and exceptional shower made this an unforgettable stay.

You can store your luggage if you arrive early or check out late. All the nearby attractions are within walking distance, and there's an amusement park nearby, great for kids.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, very easy to find, and super close to the lake. The parking right outside is a real bonus for those driving. The room facilities are comprehensive, and the bathroom is incredibly spacious and wheelchair-accessible. There's nothing obstructing the view outside, so you can stargaze directly from the entrance at night.

First off, its location in Christchurch is excellent. It's right next to the Botanical Gardens, super easy to drive to the city center, and getting to the airport is quick.
Though the hotel isn't large, it's clean and hygienic. The front desk staff were very welcoming and enthusiastically recommended a delicious restaurant nearby.
During our two-day stay, they changed our towels and emptied the trash – such thoughtful service!
Overall, it offers great value for money. If you want to avoid parking fees in Christchurch, I highly recommend staying here. The room was very spacious; we had all our luggage spread out for the last two days and still had plenty of room.

GGuest UserThis was my first trip to New Zealand and I stayed at Peppers Bluewater Resort. Even though we arrived two hours before check-in, they kindly accommodated us, which was a huge relief for us as we were tired from the long journey and a bit nervous.
The staff were all very kind and helpful, which was great.
We had dinner at the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious.

SShubingyimeiOverall, a good stay. It's tucked away in a quiet part of the complex, and the facilities are quite new. You can even see the Milky Way clearly at night. The only downside is that the room is a bit small; opening two large suitcases really fills up the space. However, I had anticipated this, so all in all, the value for money is decent (accommodation around Lake Tekapo is generally expensive).

GGuest UserThis apartment is the most satisfying place on this trip. It can be said to be amazing. First of all, all the equipment is available, just like going home. Then the apartment is incredibly large. The living room and kitchen are so big that you can do somersaults. The equipment is very new and clean. The kitchen is equipped with all possible supplies. The scenery here is also great. You can see the lake from the living room. There are two super large balconies. Our family of three lives in two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a small farm not far away where you can pet animals. It takes only a few minutes to drive to the town center. In short, everything is perfect, but it’s a pity that we only stayed for one night.
Facilities: Everything is available. The first thing we did when we arrived was to wash and dry clothes. It’s so convenient. The heating is also super comfortable, the bathroom is brand new and clean, the kitchen appliances are very complete, and there is free milk.
Hygiene: Very clean
Environment: Facing Lake Tekapo, beautiful scenery
Service: Very good, the landlord introduced the house to us

AAnonymous UserOverall, it wasn't terrible, but it was definitely the worst place we stayed during our New Zealand trip. Tekapo is super popular, and even booking four months in advance for over a thousand dollars a night, this was the best we could get. If possible, book half a year ahead during the off-peak season. This property is a whole holiday home divided into three apartments (A, B, C) for rent. Apartment A faces the lake, which is more like a small pond, but it does have ducks and wild rabbits. The view is pretty average by New Zealand standards. It's also a 15-20 minute walk to the town center's Four Square supermarket, which can be tiring if you have a lot of luggage and no car. The soundproofing in the room is really bad; we had noisy neighbors all night. The most ridiculous thing is that there isn't a single usable table or chair inside the room. The only option is the outdoor patio furniture, but it was raining when we were there, so we couldn't use it anyway. Plus, the neighbors' kids were ill-mannered and stepped all over it, so I doubt anyone would want to eat there. Even more outrageous, the water pressure in the bathroom was almost nonexistent. You'd get better pressure from a garden hose! The bathroom itself is quite spacious, but that's pointless. The Wi-Fi is shared among the three apartments, and you have to stand in a specific spot in the room to get a good connection. Customer service communication is old-school email, but at least they reply once a day. The most chilling part was on check-out day: the key safe outside had been tampered with; someone had pressed the code. I distinctly remember scrambling the numbers. Oh well, luckily there was no key inside. If you can accept all these points, then this room is perfect for you.

AAiyouyongdeyunyyIt's just a stone's throw away from the seaside. You can admire the snow-capped mountains and the sea from the balcony. It's located next to the only main road in the town. It's not far from the park and supermarket. The environment is very comfortable. The room is clean and tidy. You need to go to the reception desk of the hotel next door. After taking the key, the car was parked in the corresponding parking space downstairs, but cooking seafood was not allowed in the room for fear of too much smell!
