Lixiang Twin Room
This hotel is located right within the 'Mountain City Trail' area. The staff were excellent, helping us with our luggage and providing transfers. We stayed in the main building this time, and it was wonderfully quiet despite being in a popular area. We had the most beautiful views right from the hotel, avoiding all the tourist crowds and enjoying the scenery in peace. The room facilities were comprehensive and of high quality, and the design was absolutely stunning – truly a masterpiece. It's definitely worth experiencing!

Lixiang Double Bed Room
I specifically chose to stay at the fashionable yet vintage Jixiang Ren'aitang Hotel this time, having heard great things about it. The hotel is nestled in the bustling Shan City Lane, offering a tranquil escape amidst the crowds. It's built on the former site of the Ren'aitang, cleverly blending French historical architecture with the unique topography of the mountain city. The interior design, from the public lobby and restaurant to the room decor, incorporates numerous Scandinavian design elements, creating a very stylish ambiance that perfectly matches my aesthetic. The staff were consistently and appropriately enthusiastic, offering to help with luggage while patiently introducing the building's history and the surrounding area. Complimentary snacks and drinks were available in the lounge area, and thoughtful touches like turn-down service with a sweet soup in the evening were much appreciated. The complimentary travel photography service provided by the hotel was also very professional; it was wonderful to capture beautiful commemorative photos in such a retro and elegant setting – definitely a must-try. All in all, it was a delightful urban getaway, truly memorable, and I hope to have the chance to visit again.

A great urban getaway~
Ambience: The room offered a nice view, and the bathroom amenities were thoughtfully provided.
Food: I highly recommend the White Cliff restaurant. I initially thought a place with such a beautiful setting might compromise on taste, but it was surprisingly delicious – I'd love to go again! The late-night snack of tremella soup was also very good.
Service: Responses were always prompt.

The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, waiting for us by the roadside in advance. Every single staff member was so nice, both thoughtful and gentle, helping with everything and responding promptly to any requests. The hotel itself is truly a tranquil haven amidst the bustling city, and the expansive river view is absolutely stunning. Both the hardware and soft furnishings show great attention to detail. It was a very satisfying stay.

Fantastic river view hotel with great value for money! ⭐❤️✌🏻
The front desk staff were very friendly, and check-in was quick. The room was super clean, and the high-floor river view is definitely a highlight. The view is wide open with no obstructions, and it's especially beautiful when the lights come on at night.
The bedding was comfortable, and the shower had strong water pressure. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
The location is convenient, with a subway entrance and a shopping mall right downstairs, so you don't have to worry about food or shopping.

This hotel, newly opened in '26, was a chance booking during their opening promotion, and it ended up being one of my favorite hotels of the year, adding so much to my Chongqing trip!
Hotel Location: It's near Jiangbei IFC. Although it's across the river, it's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, which is super convenient. Plus, it's not in the bustling city center, making it quieter and more livable.
Hotel Service: InterContinental hotels always have reliable service. A butler contacted me before check-in, and I asked if they could upgrade my room if one was available. When I arrived, not only was the room upgraded, but it was also ready early, making check-in very quick.
Hotel Dining: I really have to praise this! I strongly recommend booking a room with breakfast here. The hotel breakfast, from Western to Chinese options, is excellent! The noodles and 'chaoshou' (Sichuan wontons) I had at the hotel were even better than what I had at restaurants outside. The Western desserts are also fantastic, and they offer a cheese platter – I'm absolutely obsessed with the Brie!
Highly, highly, highly recommend!

My stay at the Chongqing InterContinental Hotels & Resorts was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is brand new, and the decor and facilities are top-notch, making for a clean and comfortable experience. I have to give a huge shout-out to Manager Seven; her attitude was incredibly kind and attentive. She was super responsive to all our requests, making the entire stay feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. If you're visiting Chongqing, staying here is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

On a business trip to Chongqing, I heard this hotel was newly opened so I decided to give it a try. It definitely exceeded my expectations! Both the decor and service are top-notch. Everything feels brand new, and the staff are all very friendly. I've stayed at InterContinental hotels for years and have never been disappointed. The breakfast was also pretty good. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Chongqing.

Stepping into the hotel from the first floor, you immediately get a sense of luxury. The front desk staff provided excellent service, and the front desk manager was incredibly friendly, even giving us a complimentary suite upgrade with an unbeatable view. It was truly an unforgettable stay. I'm already planning to book here again on my next trip out of town.
