Wolf Mountain is located South of Nantong City. The mountains are covered in lush trees and plentiful historical sites. Langshan Mountain is a famous Chinese Buddhist mountain, with Buddhist architecture spread all over it. It is a well-known Buddhist worship site. The famous Guangjiao Temple was built in the early days of the Tang Dynasty and is over 1,300 years old. There are many tombs of famous historical people along the mountain road, such as the tomb of the well-known Tang Dynasty Poet, Luo Bingwang. The tallest building in Langshan is the Zhiyun Pagoda at the of the mountain. Built be the Northern Song Dynasty, its is now only able to be viewed from a distance. After listening to the wind howling along the temples edges, one can only be transfixed in a state of calm and pleasure. Standing on the mountains, one can view one of the most iconic sights of the Langshan mountain , the Zhiyun Pagoda . The best viewing spots on the mountains is now the Grand View , with wide view that allows you to enjoy the view of the Yangtze River.

One can view the sights of either side of the river with a charming night tour by boat. The Weihe River is a moat that was built over a thousand years ago and can be located at the center of Nantong. The Weihe River dominates the Weihe river Scenic Area with its lush forests and stunning landscapes. Some of the activities on offer include walking along the river , see places of interest and taking a night river cruise to experience its magic by night. The best way to see both sides of this majestic river is to take a boat ride which allows full viewing access to the landscape . On of the best sightseeing views which should not be missed is the famous Luohe Night View. The beautiful colors of the old and modern building along the river can be seen reflecting on the rivers water at night , this scene is charming and whimsical to say the least.

Junshan can be found to the south of Nantong City and southeast of Langshan Mountain. boasts the highest altitude among the five mountains of the Langshan Mountain range. The trees on the hills are lush and the air is fresh. Views of the Yangtze River and Wolf Mountain can be seen by climbing the peaks of the mountain. At the top of the hill is the historic Putuo Monastery, a famous Buddhist hermitage in Nantong, where the sitting statue of the jade goddess Guanyin can be seen. Junshan Mountain is not very big and has less tourists gracing its peaks then the Wolf Mountain. The southwestern cliff of the Jinshan Mountain is built with Wangjiangtai. From this vantage point one is able to see unobstructed views of the beautiful Yangtze river. The Langshan and Jianshan Mountain can be seen by standing on the north-west side of Military Mountain with views including the surrounding landscape that has great weather .

The picturesque Green Mountain Gorge landscape The third mountain in the Wushan range is the Jianshan Mountain. The shape of Jianshan is reminiscent of a sword sliding into its sheath, therefore it’s also known as Jianji Mountain (Sword-ridge Mountain) The mountain does not reach a high elevation bits scenery is still majestic. There is a Manjushri Institution on the mountain. Students who are close to the college take the entrance exams annually . Incense is burnt by the students and parents in front of the temple keeping with traditional customs.

At the eastern end of Qidong, facing the Yellow Sea, the Golden Beach can be located . on the beach , one can see white windmills dotting the shore. This are boasts an abundance of marine resources , including the bivalve mollusk , as well as vast mudflats that provided a habitat for many coastal organisms This is the best place for families to swim . In addition to stepping on bivalve mollusks ,some of the other must-do things include catching crabs, dreading snails, and pile sand up to form houses and castles. The vast mudflats that can be seen on the coast is a great place to get a bit messy , playing in the mud and having some fun in the sand . Bivalve mollusks can be seen and one can even catch some seafood . This untouched ocean has plenty of wildlife and seems to be untouched by the human hand , only wild nature can be seen .. During harvest season, you can also enjoy the mollusk catch and its ‘’number one‘’

Lusi Fengqing District can be located in Lusigang Town on the southern Yellow Sea. It has an abundance of marine and natural resources. Haiting Tower, Fishing Center, Dongbin Pavilion and the Sea Life Museum are some of the must see points in this city You can also take a speed boat trip on the sea, surf on the beach, do the Manchurian dance and have a seafood picnic. Of course, having a seafood dinner in Lusigang is essential.

Liyashan is located in Haimen City, Nantong. It is a natural amphibious island in the Yellow Sea, 4 nautical miles to northeast of Dongzhao Port, Haimen City. Lushan , or “Piled Oyster “ as is commonly known by the fisherman can be found here . This island is known for its abundance of Oysters. The island is scarcely inhabited so one can freely try and catch crabs , play in the sea or take a walk enjoying the serenity.
