Boracay Island offers a host of recreational water activities. Don’t miss out on sunset sailingand parasailing. Thrill-seekers will enjoy novel cliff diving or banana boats. Those who want to see the underwater world can try diving or sea walking. Here are eight water sports listed for you to try out.

The sunset at Boracay Island is incomparably beautiful. As such, a sunset-sailing outing is considered the cream of the Boracay tours and is an experience not to be missed!

The unpowered sailboats are driven only by wind. Tourists sit in the nets on both sides of the boat to enjoy the scenery and feel the gentle breeze while it sails out towards the sunset. This will be an unforgettable experience as they feast their eyes on the afterglow in the sky, feela cool comfort brought by the gentle breeze, and, free from mechanical noises, hear only the tranquil sound of the boat sailing through the waters.

Parasailing is a must-do on Boracay Island. Tourists get to fly through the air and overlook the sea while feeling a gentle breeze thanks to the high speed of speedboats attached with parachutes. You will never understand the romance of watching the sunset in the air until you give it a try.

A beautiful clear view of the Boracay Island coastlines materializes after about 15-20 minutesas you climb, guaranteeing grand vistas even before you reach full altitude. When your parachute reaches the highest level, your spotter on the boat will slowly loosen the line to bring you back to the water and then slowly reel you in. The quick rise and fall through the air can bequite thrilling.

Sea walking is an underwater activity in which you, wearing a helmet, stroll around the seabed seven or 8 m beneath the surface, observe the underwater landscape, and feed fish. You don't have to be able to swim to take a sea walk, and don’t worry about breathing problems. You are all set as long as your ear pressure balance is stable.

Take a boat to the platform. Next to it are escalators leading to the bottom of the sea. Wear

a 50 kg helmet and go 3 to 5 m down the stairs before stepping into the enchanting view of

coral reefs and fish schools. You can feed the fish with bread while your coach is by your side to help you record videos.

Ariel’s Point, located on a private island just a 30-minute boat ride from Boracay Island, is especially suitable for thrill-seekers who wish to try cliff diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. There are three heights for diving: 8 m, 10 m, and 15 m, along with small 3m and 5 m platforms available for practice.

Small pavilions and springboards are built along the hillside on this private island, which, away from noises, boasts beautiful waters and lush plants. Tourists are allowed to free dive here, unlike many other sites that only allow snorkeling from pump boats.

Take a speedboat to the Water Sports Center, put on your life jacket, and sail through the sea while appreciating the fantastic view of Boracay Island. Sail freely through the blue sea-likewind. It’s best for those who love excitement to grab the front seats.

A Flyfish is similar to a hovercraft towed by a high-speed boat. When the speedboat accelerates, the Flyfish will be lifted into the air. When the speedboat makes a sharp turn, the Flyfish

will turn in the air and give passengers the sensation of drifting.

If you prefer a less intense activity, you can choose the banana boat which sails along smoothly. Though not as exhilarating as the Flyfish, your ride can also get intense if the boat accommodates just four to five tourists.

An island-hopping tour on Boracay Island is a great experience. Crystal Cove Island is usually

featured as one of the stops of the tour. There are two small natural holes on this island. Thewater in these holes is as clear as crystal. Many types of colorful small fish, coral, and starfish

can be seen when snorkeling here. The island is furnished with artificial landscapes, creating

an eye-pleasing environment where people like to take pictures.

Boracay Island is surrounded by diving sites, as it is in an area where the water is clear, making it suitable for all kinds of diving activities. There are local dive shops where you can learn how to snorkel and how to SCUBA dive. Apart from SCUBA gear, there are also professional instructors for beginners.

Crocodile Island is regarded as one of the world's best dive sites and the vast coral reefs are

unforgettable. But avoid visiting for the first two or three days around the first and the fifteenth of the lunar month or you might not be able to enjoy the tranquil waters which are ideal for diving.
