Shanghai's Old City snacks, such as Soybean Milk, fried bread sticks, and Pancakes, have been transformed into "Hermè s" and "Rolls Royce". As I, Mr. Life grew up eating these snacks, I now suddenly feel like a noble man! Today, Mr. Life will list all the snacks that have greatly changed in their appearance to be made more attractive and expensive!

Pushi Xiaodian is located at the entrance of an old alley. It is an old two-story house where burly wood tables, warm lightning, and steep wooden ladders reminiscent of the Shanghai's Old City can be seen from the second floor. The shop is small and combines Western simplicity with the style of the Shanghai's Old City. The five-color salty soy milk could be referred to as the "Beauty" of soy milk. It is very "clean and delicate" and tastes good. The soymilk has a strong flavor and only sells for 10 Yuan per bowl, served with seaweed, fried bread sticks, and dried shrimp in it. Although it a different kind of snack, it still embodies the taste of the Shanghai's Old City! Pot stickers, crispy sticky rice cakes, small steamed dumplings, fried bread sticks, small wontons ... all kinds of Shanghai snacks can be found here.

Raffles' Crayfish Baojiaobu, which has become famous on the internet, has brought the spirit of street stalls into the city mall. Baojiaobu specializes in 7 kinds of Baojiaobu. The owner has special ordered two machines to automatically swirl the mixture . It takes about 3 minutes to cook a Baojiaobu. Within one week of opening, the small shop with only a few square meters has attracted customers who sometimes wait over an hour for a taste. The most popular one is the Crayfish Baojiaobu that has become "Moments famous" overnight . The Crayfish Baojiaobu uses fresh crayfish meat hand-peeled on the day! First, it is soaked in sweet bean sauce to make the fresh sweetness of the bean sauce and crayfish blend perfectly. Hm ~ ~ Just thinking about it will make you drool ~~Only spend 38 Yuan and you can eat 20 crayfish. Don't tell me you are not satisfied with the price!

It is an artistic style store operated by Taiwanese and is decorated in a simple and style. You would never have expected such an artistic style store to be selling Soya Beancurd at 12 Yuan per bowl and with sesame oil, spicy oil, scallions, fried bread sticks, and shredded seaweed, it will be delicious! Pork Chop Flat Bread with Egg is sold at 32 Yuan per portion and is known as the Hermes of the baked bread pancakes. Crisp and fragrant baked bread is filled with a large pork chop and fragrant egg cake. The filling is rich and juicy, and a big mouthful is extremely satisfying!

Almost all Shanghai locals who grew up in Luwan district know about the Xindiandi noodle shop, a really popular gourmet shop hidden in the corner of Shanghai. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in a simple Chinese style, with many photos of Shanghai's Old City posted on the wall, adding a touch of nostalgia. Noodles can be served with one, two, or three toppings at your pleasure. Top the noodles with the toppings served and the aroma overflows. The soup is strong-flavored and tastes wonderful from the first sip.

The street food seller Er Guang Wonton in Shanghai's Old City has been operating on Zhaozhou Road for more than 20 years. Due to imminent relocation, they have opened a new store at 109 Huangjiaque Road a few days ago. The new store is close to Daxing Street and is only 2 minutes away from the Confucian Temple, about 1 kilometer from the old store. The new store's atmosphere is obviously much better than that of the old one. There is an independent cashier counter and the kitchen is clean and tidy. The staff are wearing uniform aprons with "Er Guang Wonton" on them, as well as a yellow smiley face badge. The most important thing is that the new store's licenses are in order and photocopies of them are posted beside the price list, making it somewhat "formal".

It is a time-honored and popular soup dumplings shop and the reason beyond their success is that they steam the buns to order, ensuring the best mouthfeel. Crab & Meat Soup Dumplings are their specialty. The skin is clear and contains a lot of soup, but the price is a bit steep. Fresh Meat Soup Dumplings are a traditional and classical dish, so there's no need to say how delicious they are. There are also assorted soup dumplings containing mushrooms, fresh meat, and crab powder.

Yang's Fried Dumplings are really unusual - thin skin, lots of stuffing, and very juicy, with sesame seeds sprinkled on top, and are very aromatic. They are all made and sold on the spot, and I buy some any time I pass by their store. Although the atmosphere is not good and there are never any seats available, their business has always been so good and there are always long lines. Note: Be careful and eat slowly to avoid soup splashing everywhere or scalding your tongue.

Aunt Wang's fried bread sticks are sold at 2 Yuan per portion, and the atmosphere is clean and bright. They receive roaring business every day. The soybean pudding and the soybean milk both taste mellow. The freshly made fried bread sticks taste really good. The fried rice sticks are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and the sweet pancakes are also crisp and aromatic. I heard that when the aunt is in a good mood, soybean milk can be refilled for free. Go and see whether you are lucky enough to get a refill. I’ll quietly tell you that the price in the evening is double that of the morning!
