Greymouth is the largest city and cultural center in the West Coast region in the South Island of New Zealand. It is an important base for exploring the West Coast.It is about a 2.5-hour drive from the Franz Josef Glacier and the Fox Glacier, and there is also the famous TranzAlpine Train to and from Christchurch.
