Located in the southeastern part of Saipan, Tank Beach was the battlefield of the tank battle during WWII. The American tanks landed here, and it became famous after the war. It is dotted with Japanese beach bunkers, surrounded by lush vegetation and blue and transparent water in front. It is famous for the star sand that sets it apart from the soft and white sand of other beaches. There is no projecting reef, the waves are from far to near and from strong to weak, beating on the beach. On this untraversed beach, you can take pictures and chase the waves.
San Juan Beach is located in the northern part of Saipan and is named with its shape like a crocodile. From afar, you will see a fierce crocodile lying on the edge by the Pacific Ocean, wrestling with the raging waves. Ladder Beach is also called as the Keep Running Beach by the local Chinese. It is a small beach close to the south side of Saipan Airport and has a length of 100m. There are many corals here, and there is almost no sand on the beach. The beach is basically composed of various small coral shells. There are fewer tourists and the environment is well protected. Therefore, there is wonderful scenery. It attracts the Keep Running Team with the small number of tourists and wonderful scenery. In the ending war of Season II, the ending war of Season II came here, and the team had hula-hula dance here.
Located on the west side of Saipan, Micro Beach is the most representative beach of Saipan. There are many famous hotels on the beach, which stretches for 1 km. The sand is white and soft, the sea is very quiet with small waves, and there are not many tourists. It is inconceivable that there are seven different colors on the sea surface. Staying at the beachside hotel is the best choice for walking to the beach from the hotel directly. In the daytime, you can sunbathe on the beach and swim in the sea. Located on the east side of the Ladder Beach, Obyan Beach with its high sea water transparency becomes the well-known beach diving site and suitable for different diving levels. Walking down from the shallow shore, you can see many colorful fishes, and it is not inferior to the Battleship Island. As one of the famous diving training bases in Saipan, it has the varied underwater terrain and the excellent visibility.
It was known as the Tachognya Beach because it was once the private beach of the Tachognya Royal Family that ruled Tinian Island. Located on the southwest corner of Tinian Island, Tachognya Beach is the largest beach in Tinian Island. With the long white beach and shallow water, it has become the best choice for swimming and snorkeling. It is a very popular advertising shooting location and a photo shooting location that is popular among Japanese bikini girls.
Jeffrey's Beach is located on the east side of Saipan, and not far from the San Juan Beach. It is a small concave-shaped gap on the coastline. The rock on the right side of the beach is shaped like the side face of human and you can take a photo here. There is no sand beach on Jeffrey's Beach. After passing through the jungle, you will stand on the black sandstone left by the volcanic eruption long ago. The seawater flows backward and washes the black sandstones which are shining brightly in the seawater. Because of the inwelling, the sea is very gentle here, compared to the rough waves of the nearby San Juan Beach. You can stand with bared feet in the middle of the rock on both sides, point the tip of your nose to the tip of nose of the side face, make a fist to hit its tip of nose or point at his nose to take an interesting photo.
Wing Beach is a well-known beach diving site with highly transparent sea water which covers all shortcomings, so it has become the irreplaceable attraction and suitable for intermediate diving levels and above. You can not only see sharks, but also watch Spanish dances in the evening here. The best diving way is by launching directly from the boat. With the exception of sea turtles, sharks, bluefin trevallies and caranx ignobilis, there are some large fish.
Located on the northwestern of the southern part of Tinian Island, Chulu Beach is a very romantic beach. Here, there is very beautiful sand called star sand, and it is said that it can bring good luck to people, especially the eight-angle star sand. You can come here in the afternoon, wander on the beach, and look for the star sand in the sand. You may also encounter small crabs. At nightfall, you can also enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean. And it is worth mentioning that it was also the place where the US army landed on Tinian Island during WWII.
